チチカカは、海抜3856メートルに位置する世界で最も航行可能な湖です。その海岸や小さな島々は、インカが支配するずっと前にこの地域に住んでいた古代の文化から来たアイマラとケチュアの本拠地です。ここでは、スペイン語が第二言語であり、古代の神話や信念が今日でも続く伝統的な村を訪れることができます。チチカカ湖の特色の1つは、ウロスと呼ばれる部族が住む小さな浮島です。これらの小さな島々では、訪問者は歓迎され、有名なリードボートの1つに乗ることさえできます。

コパカバーナのかわいい村に到着して、地元の軽食を楽しみましょう。私たちは聖域と聖母モレナを見学し、訪問します。地域の小さな職人に会い、地元の文化について学ぶ機会があります。

その後、地元のガイドと一緒にプライベートボートでイスラデルソルに向かいます。 「インカ大階段」を歩き、地下水が若さと永遠の幸福をもたらすと言われている聖なる噴水も見ていきます！この後、地元の考古学レストランで昼食をとり、小さな手工芸品市場や先祖代々の場所を訪れて、先祖代々から残っている習慣について学びます。
帰りは湖の景色を楽しみ、夕日の自然の色を描きます。 ラパスのホテルへの陸路旅行。

Fantastic private tour! Our guide Nathaniel was incredibly professional and very attentive, as was the driver, Diego, who with his skill behind the wheel had a trip of 10. We had the opportunity to visit the totora museum and acquire high quality craft products. The Copacabana tour is very beautiful and the Isla del Sol is spectacular. To eat we were offered typical regional food that was delicious! The flexibility of the tour allows you to adapt your needs and preferences to visit the places and feel comfortable during the tour. We will certainly repeat with the agency when we return to Bolivia:)
We went with Daniel (guide) and Johnny (driver). They both were very hospitable. The lake is beautiful. We were given indigenous lunch by the lake which was delish! The only drawback is it is a long drive from La Paz (4 hours each way).
If you are a short on time or don't want to make complicated bus and bike plans, this is a good option. This company would get 5 stars if they would buy there own bus. A driver picks you up and you wait at the regular old bus station for about an hour (there are breakfast restaurants in the terminal). Our group was about 1/3 of the bus and the biggest issue was that for 4 long hours going out, I was sitting in a tight seat next to a Bolivian mother with a FOUR year old in her lap! I had no idea which 1/3 of the bus was on my tour. If they don't buy their own bus, it would be nice to have the tour seats all together. The tour and guide were great. You get to see most of what you want to see, albeit very quickly. You get back to the bus station around 10PM in La Paz. Once I knew who was part of the tour, it was easy to strike up conversations.

<p>very enjoyable and interesting tour of inca settlements, guide went to la paz university for 4 years in tourism and very knowledgeable <br/> not only about Bolivia, also the world, nice company for all day, I bought him beers, <br/> I been to cobacobana in Rio and he explained to me the name originated from this copacobana on sun island.</p>
