Starting at 3:30pm, this half-day tour offered the perfect introduction to the city. Our wonderful guide Nups shared fascinating stories and insights as we explored the Mehrauli Archaeological Park, including the Quli Khan Tomb and the serene Rose Garden. From there, we visited the Qutub Minar Complex, where the intricate history of Delhi unfolded before us through the Qutub Minar, Alai Minar, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Ashok Stambh, and Alai Darwaza. The day ended beautifully with a walk through the Lodhi Art District and the peaceful Lodhi Gardens, where history and creativity blend perfectly. It was an incredible way to begin our journey in India — a perfect mix of heritage, culture, and art, all brought to life through Nups’ passionate storytelling and deep knowledge of Delhi’s history. Shub Kush is a fine guide: good English, a great sense of humor, and as much information as you desire, without sounding as though he memorizes Wikipedia.
