Good in depth overview and introduction to Panama! Daniela did a very thorough job explaining the history of places visited and it was clear she had a passion for history! The private tour was perfect as it was 1st day in the city.

Demetri was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable on the different areas and their significance. Was also very friendly. Took time for us to shop and ask questions. Knew so much history. I thoroughly enjoyed all of his explanations. I enjoyed that it was private tour with just 3 girls. We were able to customize what we wanted to see. Truly recommend it for anyone coming to Panama for the first time.

Our guide was excellent. Dan knew answers to everything we asked and was very proactive in taking care of us and showing us so many places Panama City has to offer. He toured Panama Viejo with us and explained what we were looking at. Once we arrived in Old Town, he walked through the streets and he pointed out many restaurants, shops and museums to see. He took us to the Molas museum, which is fantastic. A must see. . We couldn’t have had a better guide for the day. It was a super day in Panama City.

Demetrio's depth of knowledge made the history interesting and brought it to life. The tour covered the founding of Panama City to it's importance in the present day.

This tour shows and tells so much interesting history of Panama! It's a must for anyone interested in Panama's past. Demetri, hopefully I have his name correct, was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He's also in tune with Panama as it exists today!

We spent a lively and fascinating 8 hours with the irrepressible guide Claudio Carrasco, of YALA Tours, who drove us all over town, covering both geography and rich history going back centuries and natural history going way back in time. He combined affection for the city with a wide array of knowledge – social, artistic, natural, geologic. By the end of the day with Claudio I and my traveling companions felt we’d made a new friend, and had an unexpected appreciation of the richness of this city. Highly recommended.
