I had booked a Blue falls tour in Costa Rica back in April with Adrian! He was a perfect tour guide who took us to the most beautiful spots and captured several beautiful photos of my group and me! He also showed us different locations on the way to the tour to talk about the history of Costa Rica. Afterwards, he showed us a hot spring and we got to relax after our adventure! Super friendly and accommodating! I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants a more personalized experience!
The experience was great. The places we visited were great, plus the guide took care of us at all times. Everything agreed was carried out to the letter. Of course we will enjoy all that Costa Rica has to offer

Las siete cascadas de Blue Falls y su cañón son una joya oculta para los viajeros que buscan algo más que el clásico recorrido turístico de siempre, con senderos que piden acompañamiento real de alguien que los conoce y te cuida en el camino. Eso es un plus importante y no es solo señalarte por dónde ir. Me encanta caminar con mis aventureros. Ojalá el próximo capítulo sea por otra zona del país que podamos explorar juntos. Acá estamos.
We had an incredible experience on our private tour with guide Adrián. From the very beginning, he proved to be extremely professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, making every part of the journey special. In two days, we were able to experience the best of Costa Rica starting from SJO. We visited a Starbucks coffee farm, explored Poás Volcano (and were lucky enough to see it clear — truly a breathtaking sight!), and ended the first day at the stunning Blue Falls. We spent the night in La Fortuna. Although Arenal Volcano didn’t fully reveal itself, the walk through the Hanging Bridges park was amazing — we saw monkeys, snakes, poisonous frogs, and incredibly lush nature. We wrapped up the day relaxing in the hot springs with a delicious piña colada — perfect! Adrián drove us back to SJO safely in a very comfortable vehicle. We have nothing but praise for him and the entire experience. We will definitely return to Costa Rica and would love to do another tour with Adrián!
Thank you. Half the credit here is yours: you took the suggestion to turn a rushed single day into two, and that decision is the reason the trip felt the way it did. A group of friends traveling together usually knows how they want to travel, and you did. Two days from San José covering that much only works if the route is built with intention. Hacienda Alsacia first, the only coffee farm Starbucks owns anywhere in the world. Then Poás Volcano, and seeing that crater clear is genuinely luck, because it closes in without warning most mornings. Blue Falls in Bajos del Toro closed the first day with a hidden gem: seven waterfalls in a canyon most itineraries never mention. That is the mix I always look for, iconic places and local spots in the same day. Arenal kept itself hidden, which happens more often than people expect, and it is exactly why I never build a day around one guaranteed sight. Mistico Hanging Bridges gave you the rainforest instead: monkeys, snakes, poison dart frogs. That trade is usually a good one. Hot springs at the end of a long day walking is the reason La Fortuna is worth the drive. Come back and we will design the next road trip together. There is a lot of Costa Rica left.
I am a traveler who prefers to go on his own, and this is the first time I was encouraged to take a private tour with Adrian and the truth has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. In addition to the main places we met a number of little-known sites along the way that left me in awe of the beauty of Costa Rica. I was impressed by the turquoise color of the waters in combination with nature. I totally recommend it, the time is taken advantage and enjoy to the fullest!
Paul, muchas gracias. Que un viajero independiente se anime a un tour privado por primera vez es algo que valoro mucho, porque sé el tipo de duda que hay detrás. Antes que un guía soy un viajero, y desde ahí diseño mis experiencias. Quien viaja por su cuenta ya sabe llegar a los lugares principales. Lo que cuesta encontrar son los otros, los que no salen en ninguna guía y que solo un local conoce después de años recorriendo el país. Aun así siempre salta el temor de toparse con el clásico guía turístico. Por eso me aseguro de no caer en ese papel y de vivir cada experiencia como un viajero local que le muestra su país a sus nuevos amigos. Ver el agua turquesa de Blue Falls en Bajos del Toro es de esas cosas que pocos viajeros alcanzan a vivir en Costa Rica, y a mí me sigue emocionando llevar gente ahí. Son siete cascadas en un cañón que casi nadie incluye en su itinerario, y lo que más impresiona es la poca gente alrededor, aunque quede a un par de horas de San José. Ojalá el próximo capítulo sea por otra zona del país, donde podamos explorar juntos más joyas ocultas y salir a bailar por la noche en algún pueblo de Costa Rica. Acá estamos, mi amigo.
