We had an amazing time touring the Game of Thrones sites in Split with Gita. She was not only very knowledgeable about the history, and the filming, but was actually an extra on the show and had some fun stories! She knew everyone in town and at the sites and really made it feel like a personal tour of her town. We felt very welcome. Even experienced some extras like a sword fight and the Game of Thrones Museum. Cannot recommend it enough!
Highly recommended! Our tour guide was Vjeran (VJ) and he was outstanding, not just with the GOT information but with history as well. We visited Klis Fortress which I also recommend. Everyone in our family including 18 year olds, a 21 year old plus parents loved the tour. VJ even gave us a lunch restaurant recommendation that was off the beaten path, authentic Croatian restaurant that everyone agreed was the best in Split over our 3 days there.
