ウズベキスタンのサマルカンドにあるアミール・ティムール像は、14世紀の征服者でティムール朝の創始者であるアミール・ティムール（タメルラーネ）に捧げられた壮大な記念碑である。 像はウズベキスタンの国家的誇り、強さ、歴史的遺産の象徴として立っている。
ティムールの墓は 1404 年に建てられ、その壮大で豪華な外観で有名で、ティムール帝国の壮大さを反映しています。この建物には、ティムールの息子や孫を含む、ティムールの家族の他のメンバーの墓もあります。この霊廟はティムール朝建築の代表的な例であり、この地域のイスラム建築の発展に影響を与えてきました。
レギスタンはウズベキスタンのサマルカンドにある歴史的な広場で、見事なイスラム建築と重要な文化遺産で知られています。「レギスタン」という名前はペルシャ語で「砂地」を意味し、市場としての起源を反映しています。広場はティムール朝時代に建てられた 3 つの壮大なマドラサ (イスラム学校) に囲まれています。
ウルグ・ベク・マドラサ：15世紀に天文学者であり統治者でもあったウルグ・ベクによって建てられたこのマドラサは、印象的なタイル細工と広い中庭で知られています。
シェル・ドル・マドラサ：17世紀初頭に建てられたこのマドラサには、虎やその他のモチーフを描いたユニークなタイル装飾が施されています。
ティラ・コリ・マドラサ：これは3つのうち最後に建てられたもので、17世紀半ばに完成し、豪華な金で覆われた内装で有名です。
ビビハヌム モスクは、ウズベキスタンのサマルカンドにある有名な歴史的モスクです。ティムール朝時代に建てられ、14 世紀後半、具体的には 1399 年から 1404 年の間にティムール (タメルラン) によって建設されました。このモスクはティムールの妻、ビビハヌムにちなんで名付けられました。
サマルカンドのシヤブバザールは、地元の生活や文化を垣間見ることができる、活気に満ちた市場です。ウズベキスタンで最も歴史のある都市の1つであるサマルカンドの中心部に位置するシヤブバザールは、新鮮な農産物やスパイスから織物や伝統工芸品まで、幅広い品ぞろえで知られています。
「シャヒ・ジンダ」はウズベキスタンのサマルカンドにある史跡です。11世紀に遡る墓地または埋葬地で、美しく装飾された霊廟や墓で有名です。「シャヒ・ジンダ」という名前は「生きた王」または「生きている王」と訳され、この場所の重要性と崇敬を反映しています。
ウルグベク天文台はサマルカンドで最も重要な考古学的・科学的遺跡の一つである。 1424年から1428年にかけて、天文学者の王ウルグ・ベク（タメルランの孫）によって建設された、かつては世界で最も進んだ天文学の中心地であった。
ミルゾ・ウルグベク記念碑クリックするとサイドパネルが開き、詳細情報を見ることができます。ウルグベク天文台の遺跡のすぐ外側にある横長の広場にある、印象的なブロンズ製のトリビュートです。 15世紀中にサマルカンドを科学探究の世界的中心地に変えた「天文学者王」の生涯を記念するものである。

Beautiful city with lots of historic buildings and attractions. Better to visit the city during spring or cooler months because most of attractive places are outdoors

We initially booked a private city tour in Tashkent and through the same company ended up booking this tour because it was so great! We got Amin as our guide and loved how knowledgeable and hospitable he was! Samarkand is his hometown so he was very happy to show us around and tell us about the rich history of the city. He was funny as well and provided ice cold water, which helped us get through the hot day! You will not regret booking this experience!!! And the cherry on top was that he made sure to get great photos of me and my family as we explored the city! Thank you Amin!!

The tour was simply fantastic. Amin is a sensational guide and an even better photographer. It was very flexible with the start of the tour and tour duration was longer than planned. Besides, he was very kind all the time and still took me to a local restaurant. I highly recommend the tour and would do a thousand times if returned to Samarcanda.
