Erika was a pleasure to have as a tour guide, she was fun and informative. The food was delicious and even made my gluten free self happy. The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is the meeting place was very confusing and vague, we actually went out of our way and had to back track to get to where we needed to be; I even called the local number to find the meeting spot.
Our guide Michele was wonderful, personable and made the tour truly special. We felt like we were spending time with a family member or someone we have known a very long time. All the food was beyond expectations and all the detailed information provided to us made it all a truly wonderful experience. My husband and I are so glad we did this tour and completely recommend this to anyone upon their visit to Parma.
What a great tour! Michelle guided us through a tasting of a wide variety of sweet and savory foods, explaining how they were deeply connected to history of Parma and the local area. We had our 5 and 8-year-old kids with us, and Michelle went above and beyond to adjust the pace for them so that everyone could fully enjoy the experience. Highly recommended!
Last week we had a Private Parma Food tour with Lisa. We are overwhelmed with various delicious treats and dishes from Parma. Lisa told us a lot about Parma and took us to the local entrepreneurs for the tastings. She talked a lot about herself and was very interested in us, which made the tour very pleasant, very cozy, and educational. We would like to come back on the tour to enjoy this beautiful city with all its delicious dishes.

This tour was amazing! There was so much food (and wine!) and it was all top-notch. We learned so much about the history of food and Parma, and the shop and restaurant owners welcomed us with such warmth everywhere we went, we felt like stars! I was in Parma for work reasons and with some colleagues we were looking for an activity to get to know the city a bit and taste the typical dishes, but this tour gave us much more. Our guide Roberta explained all the details of the specialties we were tasting, their origins, and the connection they have with local history. We learned so much about products that we are used to taking for granted, and we also received excellent advice on the most important monuments to visit and where to eat on our own, avoiding tourist restaurants.
