He has broad and impressive historical knowledge and explained the history of the palace in a fascinating way, while also sharing insights into Indian history and culture. As a woman traveling solo in India, feeling safe and comfortable was very important to me, and I was truly happy to meet such a professional and genuinely decent person like Amit.
We did an incredible multi-day trek with Amit, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip in India. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We didn’t have to carry heavy gear on our backs — the vehicle met us at each sleeping point, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable and accessible. Amit took great care of us, making sure we always had good food and snacks along the way. On two of the nights we stayed with wonderful local families — one night camping and another night in their home — which added such a special, authentic layer to the experience. The trek itself was a wild adventure, but what really made it special was Amit. He was attentive to the group’s needs, flexible, and genuinely caring. We connected not only with him but also with his driver, and really enjoyed spending time talking and laughing together. We even stayed in touch after the trek. I’ve already recommended Amit to all my friends traveling in India, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a meaningful, well-organized, and unforgettable trekking experience.

We had an amazing tour of Jaipur, we began from the Amber Fort, this was amazing and a must see. We also visited City Palace, the astronomy observatory and we drive passed the Palace of Winds and the Water Palace. Our tour guide Amit Jha was very patient with my mum and took time to educate us about all the buildings and he was able to take photos in the best position, he was very educated and informative. Please note you have to pay to visit each attraction it is not included in your tour, however it isn’t expensive. Thank you Amit for fitting so much into our day.

Amit, who has been exploring this area since his childhood, knows Jaipur, the monuments and the people inside out. The tour was planned in a fulfilling but rational way. I felt like the guidance was personalized to us, because besides getting all the essential information on the sights, we also had time to explore the monuments in a relaxed way. He was also prepared to answer any further questions we had and he was perfectly helpful with any issues we faced on the way. It was more like following a knowledgable friend through the forts and palaces, rather than just an official tour guide, because he connected with us as individual people, not just as subjects of the tour.
We made a last minute, whistle stop in Jaipur. With less than 24 hours notice, Amit met us in Jaipur and hosted a wonderful and very informative tour! With very little time, he made sure that we saw all the main sites and was very happy well read about Jaipur history and monuments. He accommodated the specific things we wanted to see and do and gave great recommendations! I was sad not to have more time to explore Jaipur on this trip, but will be back and would highly recommend Amit as a trustworthy and friendly tour guide.
