メルカド・ドス・ラヴラドーレスは1940年にオープンして以来、フンシャルの生鮮食品貿易の中心地であり、伝統的なアズレージョのタイルパネルで飾られた入り口がある。 店内には熱帯の果物や花、その日の漁獲物を積み上げた露店が数フロアにわたって展開し、マデイランの伝統的なドレスを着た花売りがしばしば見守った。 写真や地元の生活の味を楽しむのに最適な場所です。
フンシャルの旧市街は、サンタ・マリア通りのような通りで最もよく知られており、明るく塗装されたドア、狭い石畳のレーン、伝統的な地元のレストランが並んでいます。 これらの歴史的なコーナーは、街の最も特徴的で写真映えする側面の1つです。
ピナクロはフンシャルで最も撮影された視点の一つであり、サン・ゴンサロの崖から街を見下ろす珍しい視点を提供している。 ここからは、湾、港、大西洋を一望でき、写真撮影の時間は十分にあります。
ムニチピオ広場は、白黒のポルトガル語の石畳で舗装され、市庁舎、現在は博物館となっている旧司教宮殿、イグレハ・ド・コレージョという3つの歴史的建造物によって額縁されたフンシャルで最も美しい広場と見なされることが多い。 マデイラで最も裕福なイエズス会の教会であるこの17世紀に建てられた教会は、白無地のファサードの背後に並外れたバロック様式の内装が隠されており、ほぼ全面に金細工の木彫とタイルパネルが貼られています。 教会がたまたま開いていたら、立ち止まって写真を撮って中に入ってみるのもいい安らぎのスポットです。

Incredible tour! Virgílio was extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional. Doing this tour in the beginning of your trip is a MUST to see the area and learn which places you have to see while in Madeira. We went to one of the restaurants he suggested for dinner that night and it was our favorite place we ate at all vacation!

Our tuc tuc tour with Virgilio was a really great experience. He was spot on time, very polite, helpful & informative. He showed us some lovely spots in Funchal which we would not have found otherwise. He recommended a bakery selling Pastel de Nata & he was right, they were divine. My friend & I felt safe, looked after & we really enjoyed the hour spent on this trip & I have already recommended him to a friend who is visiting in October.

A fantastic and very enriching experience! The tour made it possible to get to know Madeira better through the explanations of the guide Virgilio, who made all the difference with his knowledge, sympathy and professionalism.
