メルカド・ドス・ラヴラドーレスは1940年にオープンして以来、フンシャルの生鮮食品貿易の中心地であり、伝統的なアズレージョのタイルパネルで飾られた入り口がある。 店内には熱帯の果物や花、その日の漁獲物を積み上げた露店が数フロアにわたって展開し、マデイランの伝統的なドレスを着た花売りがしばしば見守った。 写真や地元の生活の味を楽しむのに最適な場所です。
フンシャルの旧市街は、サンタ・マリア通りのような通りで最もよく知られており、明るく塗装されたドア、狭い石畳のレーン、伝統的な地元のレストランが並んでいます。 これらの歴史的なコーナーは、街の最も特徴的で写真映えする側面の1つです。
ピナクロはフンシャルで最も撮影された視点の一つであり、サン・ゴンサロの崖から街を見下ろす珍しい視点を提供している。 ここからは、湾、港、大西洋を一望でき、写真撮影の時間は十分にあります。
ガラジャウへの海岸道路からは、大西洋とマデイラ島の険しい南岸を一望でき、フンシャルの通りよりも静かで野生的な島の側面を眺めることができます。 その道の突き当たりには1927年のアールデコ様式のキリスト像クリスト・レイが建っており、リオデジャネイロの有名な像より数年先行するポルトガル語圏で最も古い像となっている。
テレイロ・ダ・ルータには、第一次世界大戦中のフンシャルへのドイツ語軍のUボート攻撃によって平和が戻った場合に聖母を称えると島民が約束した後、1927年に建てられたマデイラ島最大の記念碑である平和の聖母の聖域がある。 その根元には、沈没船の鎖で作られたロザリオが今も語り継がれている。 記念碑の向こうにはフンシャルと湾を見下ろす一望があり、眼下に広がる街よりもずっと静かな環境です。

After our first tuk-tuk tour, we were so thrilled that we booked a second tour right away. Thank you very much for the two wonderful excursions!
