Julianno was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable around volcanoes and the history of Mount Etna. In other words, we were covered historically and scientifically. It was an extremely enjoyable venture for my husband and me. The hiking was a lovely challenge, and the icing on the cake was the Scilio vineyard with the wine tasting and extremely tasty lunch. This is a must if visiting Taormina
A great tour which tells you the history of this mountain. Walk along the areas of lava and caves. Just a breathtaking view. Our tour guide Maurizio was fantastic!! Super knowledgeable and takes the time to learn about you and where you are from. Such a nice person!!
Maurizio was a wonderful guide! He was completely accommodating of our group which included an 11 month old baby. He allowed those of us who wished to climb and experience the higher elevations to do so while allowing other members of our group to rest and enjoy the scenery! We learned so much! Maurizio is very knowledgeable and has a lot of pride for this region! We also had a delicious wine and food tasting at Scilio all perfectly arranged by Maurizio! I HIGHLY recommend this tour if you wish to experience the beauty of Etna and Sicily!

Mario was an incredible guide for the Etna and winery tour! He was accommodating and friendly, his knowledge of Etna and the surrounding areas was very expansive and made the tour he set up very exciting. On Etna, he took us on a walk around the 2002 lava flows and through the lava caves, explaining extensively what happened and the significance of the volcano’s uses within the community. Afterwards, Mario set up a delicious gastronomical experience at a beautiful winery where we enjoyed a delectable meal with wine pairings. We were also able to tour the wine cellar and learn about the wine-making process. This tour was unbelievable and worth every moment for my fiancé and I, marking it as one of the best tours we had on our trip!
Outstanding tour with a wonderful tour guide, Alice. She was so engaging & joyful, it was a terrific tour. All of our food, beverage & olive oil stops were very enjoyable.
