Our guide, Gizem, was both friendly and informative! She provided helpful historical and cultural information about Ephesus! Her recommendations of a visit to a pottery shop and a Turkish delicacy shop were well worth our time and we thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with the owners! It was a 5-star experience from beginning to finish. The personnel made sure that our stay was lengthy enough for us to leave the cruise early. The cost of entry was really reasonable. We did a good job of handling the audience size, and the historical setting was fantastic. The ideal thing for those who like history.
This tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide met us right at the Kusadasi cruise port, and the car was spotless and air-conditioned (a blessing in the summer heat!). Ephesus was mind-blowing — the Celsus Library, the amphitheater, everything came alive with our guide’s storytelling. We even stopped by a local carpet shop and learned how silk threads are made — surprisingly fascinating!
Our ship docked in Kusadasi, and we chose Turco Travel for our shore excursion. It turned out to be the highlight of our entire cruise! From the warm welcome at the port to the amazing commentary throughout the day, everything was perfect. We loved Ephesus, the Temple of Artemis, and the local Turkish lunch. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
