Nancy is not only a knowledgeable guide about the wonderful places where she leads you but also extremely attentive to the care and logistical organization of the tour. I also recommend her for her extreme willingness to answer every one of my requests before the tour, and for the kindness and sweetness with which she went out of her way to give us travel advice for the day itself and to make herself available in case we needed anything during the rest of the other days in China. Nancy is an outstanding guide, she explained everything we visited in great detail, gave us enough time to explore, and, most importantly, talked with us about countless topics that enriched the experience even more; definitely, it is a tour worth taking. As for the places we visited, suffice it to say that they are spectacular; it is difficult to describe how impressive each one is.

Great one day experience with Nancy at Datong. She went out of her way to ensure I got a ticket to climb the hanging temple, and provided a good mix of insight and history while also giving me space to explore on my own.

The tour in Datong with Alex was fantastic! Alex and the driver tailored the tour itinerary to our specific preferences. Since we arrived in Datong by train on the same day as the tour, they picked us up at the station. We then drove to the Yutong Grottoes. Alex’s explanations were comprehensive and very clear. He repeatedly drew our attention to details in the wonderful artworks and provided an interesting historical insight into the history of the site. Afterward, he took us to the hotel in the city center and made sure we had enough time to visit the temple as well. Thank you, Alex, for your dedication and kindness. We would gladly give you and the driver a 10 out of 10 if that were possible, and we recommend the tour 100%.

The caves offer a unique experience that is worth living to the full. The site is very large, but easily visited. We could not see the temple suspended due to ongoing maintenance, but the guide offered us a visit to Datong Old Town, which turned out to be truly lovely. Nancy knows her city very well and helps tourists to appreciate it at its best, introducing unique corners.

organized a tour with nancy for a 2 nights 3 days tour of pingyao and datong. she was always attemptive to our questions and provided us with the info we needed. she organized drivers and english speaking tour guides both in pingyao and datong.

Nancy helped me in organizing my trips in China last year in Beijing, Datong, Chengdu helping me in finding great hotels and train connections, this year I organized a new trip and she helped me in booking all my train and changes of train tickets. I organize my own itinerary but it is always great to have local support and advice. I liked to work with her and I would definitively contact her again for my next trip in China!!

The day was perfect, the Star guide was very efficient and organized. In addition to speaking good English, he had a lot of knowledge of the sites visited (Temple Suspended and Yungang Caves), showing old photos and telling interesting facts.
