小樽運河は全長1,140メートル、緩やかなカーブが特徴で、小樽を代表する観光名所のひとつです。 運河沿いに63基のガス灯が灯る幻想的でノスタルジックな風景は、多くの観光客を魅了しています。 運河沿いの石造りの倉庫や古い建物は、店舗や飲食店として再利用されており、歴史的建造物やレトロな街並みとともに、「日本の都市景観100選」「美しい歴史的風土100選」など数々の賞を受賞しています。また、小樽運河周辺には歴史的建造物や博物館、小樽堺町通り商店街、小樽オルゴール堂など、小樽の魅力を存分に味わえる観光スポットが豊富にあります。 ガイドがお客様の興味のある場所へご案内します。
小樽堺町通り商店街は、小樽観光のメインストリート。小樽で最も人気の観光スポットである小樽運河にほど近く、明治・大正・昭和の3年間に建てられた歴史的建造物が数多く残る街並みです。タイムスリップしたような雰囲気の商店街は、スイーツやグラス、オルゴールなどが有名で、小樽らしい飲食店やショッピングを楽しめます。
明治時代に建てられた建物を利用したオルゴール専門店。入り口では店のシンボルである蒸気時計が出迎えてくれます。レトロな雰囲気の店内には、世界中から集めた約8万個のオルゴールが並んでいます。ジュエリーボックスやぬいぐるみ、壁掛け、陶器など、デザインや素材も多種多様。ユニークなオルゴールが揃っています。
LeTAOは、小樽の観光に欠かせないランドマークのひとつで、単なるパティスリーではなく、小樽市の文化アイコンです。 軽やかでクリーミーな食感が特徴のチーズケーキ「ダブルフロマージュ」が名物の「LeTAO」は、国内外から多くの来場者が訪れる。 本店ではここでしか味わえないデザートやカフェメニューを提供しており、小樽のまさに中心部で限定フレーバーを味わうことができる。 LeTAOはヨーロッパ風の建物とタワーで街並みにも魅力を加え、人気のフォトスポットとなっています。 スイーツを楽しむだけでなく、チョコレートや焼き菓子など、豊富な品揃えを閲覧でき、お土産にも最適です。 小樽ツアーで「LeTAO」を訪れるのは、デザートにとどまらない、地元の文化やおもてなし、世界的に有名な北海道の味に触れることができる。
北海道産米を100％使用し、通年で地酒を生産している酒造会社。 「キッコー蔵」では、1年中いつでも酒蔵見学に参加し、昔ながらの醸造過程を間近で見て、小樽の酒の歴史を学ぶことができます。 本店では、より軽い体験を求める人のために試飲会や、ショッピングに便利な地酒や関連商品などを取り揃えています。 本店もクルーズポートから近いので、ガイドに行きたい場所をお知らせください。
もともと銀行のホールだったアトリウムは2階まで伸びており、現在は6本の印象的な古典的な柱を備えた大きな美術館になっています。 訪問者は1階のルイス・C・ティファニー・ステンドグラス・ギャラリーを歩きながら、日本の近代絵画や現代絵画を鑑賞することができます。

My husband and I had a great time strolling Otaru with Yuko. She had great knowledge of the city and spoke English very well. We visited a couple of museums that helped us better understand the history of the city, and stopped in for some sake tasting at the local sake brewery. Yuko explained the sake making process and we really had a great time with the staff at the brewery. We did a bit of shopping as well, and Yuko's ability to translate made that experience go smoother than it otherwise might've. Finally , we had a delightful lunch at a great restaurant Yuko selected. All in all we had a wonderful time and, should we be lucky enough to return some day, we would do this tour again.

There was an itinerary but as it was customizable we were allowed to change it to suit our interests and Hiro was totally accommodating with this. He was extremely patient and although the tour was only 4 hours long, he stayed with us for almost double that time. Otaru was definitely a place that I would return to and Hiro is defy the guide that I would ask for.
