ドロガラティ洞窟は有名なメリッサーニ湖と同じエリアにあり、サーミからわずか 3 km の場所にあります。わずか 300 年前に地震で洞窟の一部が破壊され、入り口ができたときに発見されました。メリッサーニ洞窟と同様に、ドロガラティも洞窟学者のアンナ ペトロキロスとヤニス ペトロキロスによって探検されました。彼らはロープとはしごを持って洞窟に入りました。

A lot of buses, a lot of waiting… I advise people to go there on their own. Quick visits, 1/4 of an hour, no more, for the caves.

The tour was absolutely perfect! We were picked up at the port, and we went straight to the caves. We had a driver(Dennis) and a guide(Thelki). Both were very nice and extremely knowledgeable! The tours of the caves were soooo cool!! Don’t miss it!
