Our family had an incredible day visiting Balos Lagoon and Falassarna Beach. From the moment we were picked up, everything was first class. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day feel relaxed while ensuring we got the most out of every stop. He shared great local insights, helped us avoid the busiest times, and never made us feel rushed. Balos Lagoon is every bit as stunning as the photos, and having someone who knew the best viewpoints and timing made the experience even better. Falassarna Beach was the perfect place to relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever visited. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and communication before the tour was excellent. Everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. We took the Balos Lagoon tour, and we honestly couldn't have had a better experience. From the very beginning, Sakis and Jordan were punctual for our pick-up and made us feel comfortable right away. Throughout the drive to the different places we visited, they gave us fascinating explanations about the history, culture, traditions, and many interesting facts about Crete. Thanks to their knowledge and the passion with which they shared it, we were able to understand the island much better and appreciate every stop even more. They adapted to our preferences and pace throughout the day, making the tour feel completely personalized. They also took us to a wonderful traditional taverna, where we enjoyed one of the best meals of our entire trip to Crete. We had a great tour guide that was attentive and patient to what we wanted to do! This excursion was a must do!!

We arrived in port and were immediately greeted by Savos - our driver for the afternoon. We only had six hours so we decided to head directly to Balos first. We were so glad he was the one driving! He expertly navigated the tricky road to Balos. After enjoying the breath taking views we headed to our next stop - the beautiful Fallasarna beach where we relaxed the rest of the afternoon. Savos delivered us back at port exactly on time! A wonderful afternoon in Crete!

If you want a friendly and knowledgeable guide for the day, I highly recommend Leonidas. He is an excellent driver and knows a lot about Crete’s history and all of the great local places to visit. 5/5 will absolutely book with him again. Top notch!

Our driver/guide, Sakis, picked us up right on time. Sakis was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. In addition to the beaches, we stopped at a honey factory, an interesting geologic site, and an old monastery with incredible views of the area and amazing cave sanctuaries. For our hike down to Balos Beach, Sakis, offered us trekking polls which, for us, made the hike much more manageable. Before sending us off for the hike down to the beech, he took us to a viewpoint slightly off the trail, for an amazing view of the Balos beech area! We would have missed that view without him. For our stop at Falassarno, we were dropped-off right at the beech and avoided having to walk down and back up to the parking lot. Sakis, spent extra time with us and provided cold bottled water throughout the day. We would highly recommend this tour.
