Today we had the chance to have Joseph as our private driver / tour guide, and he made us feel welcomed and special from the moment he picked us up with his comfy SUV until he dropped us off again at the end of our journey. He's very well educated, knowledgeable, customers oriented, flexible and we felt safe and on good hands at all times. And he always pointed out the best place to go and stand for the best experience and views. We saw koalas, kangaroos and even some Quokkas! ... Had a nice lunch break in Katoomba before heading to the Blue Mountains National Park... and what a treat it was. Make sure to bring a good camera. Great journey definitely. Traveled to Sydney with my family - party of 6 including two young children and two senior citizens. We didn’t want to rent a car so we decided to book this private tour. Joseph was our tour guide and he was fantastic. We were conveniently picked up and dropped off right at our hotel instead of having to travel to a separate meeting place which was good for grandma. He was knowledgeable and patient answering my kids’ questions. We went to Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park where we got to feed kangaroos and touch and take a photo with a koala. We specifically wanted to go here versus other zoos because it featured Australian animals and is easily walkable. Joseph recommended the best places to sit and stand on the cable cars at Scenic World to get good photos and views. He showed us which trees were eucalyptus and tea tree and we were able to smell the oil by rubbing the leaves together. We enjoyed our tour and were very comfortable in the van. Had a wonderful time for our first full day in Sydney!

The tour was a wonderful experience and well worth the money spent, also thanks to the excellent guide Joseph who would answer any questions very knowledgably in perfect and very clear and distinct English which was easy to understand even for a non-native speaker like me. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the day trip, giving advice on the best way of taking photos and allowing enough time at every stop to fully enjoy it.

Our guide Luke James made this trip so special. He was knowledgeable and very professional but more than that, he truly loved the sights, the nature, and the animals. He would make it easy for us. He would put us in position for the best experience. He took our pictures and texted them back to us. We couldn’t ask for more. A great guide.

We booked the Ausguides Blue Mountain Tour for our family. It was our first visit to the mountain. We were super grateful that we had Joseph as our guide/drive. He was very patient and very knowledgeable through out the whole tour. He drove us from location to location and kindly provided all the historical background of the site we visited. When we visited Featherdale Sydney Wild Park, Joseph kindly walked us through the park and visit each Aussie animals. I was surprised by his knowledge of the animals and he explains most of them in details. Next he took us to the Scenics World in blue mountain. He made sure we knew all the rides and were familiar with the facility before he left us. And later he took us to different outlook point in blue mountain and saw some amazing views. Overall my family had really wonderful time. We definitely would book again with Ausguides.

Our tour to the Featherdale Wildlife Reserve and the Blue Mountains was amazing. Luke James was a very knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. The Refuge was impressive and very hands on. We were able to feed kangaroos and see Koalas up close. The day started very foggy but after he took us for a lunch break in Katoomba, the fog had lifted and we were able to enjoy the views from Scenic World. He recommended the Yellow Deli for lunch. What a treat to be able to have an amazing lunch in such a quaint local restaurant! Very unique place. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sydney. It is definitely worth it to spend a day in the Blue Mountains and visit the Featherdale Wildlife Refuge.
