From start to finish, this tour was so much fun and one of the highlights of our holiday! Our tour guide, Davide, was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly, welcoming, and made everyone feel comfortable straight away. If you’re nervous about hikes or scared of heights like I am, I’d still recommend booking this tour. You don’t have to do the full hike if you don’t want to. I stayed at the viewpoint while my friend carried on, and we met back there in time to watch the sunset together. I still felt like I’d had the most incredible experience, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The sunset was unforgettable, and the whole trip was really well organised. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madeira!

Incredible experience and so worth doing. The sunset hike was amazing and not many others around. There wasn’t too much walking and it was easy terrain. The landscape was well worth seeing. The driver/guide Luís was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He invited all questions both on the way to the hike and the trip back. He also provided updates on the weather, sunset time and best places to be when the sunsets.

The tour guide was very friendly and likable! He told us a lot and was able to answer all our questions. The drive there was already very impressive, and the nature was beautiful. Of course, the hiking trail was just as lovely! It was truly breathtaking and incredibly impressive! We highly recommend booking the trip with this organization. 😊

I recommend this activity 1000%, very well organized, the information is clear. They picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off very close to the hiking location. Our guide was super nice, just before the peak, he dropped us off at a typical bar. And the place plus the sunset: it’s magical! Thank you, Davidé

It was fantastic and one should go! There is hiking up and down stairs so bring walking sticks if the knees are an issue. No hiking boots required . Worth it! Davide the driver was wonderful! He even played guitar at the entrance of the walk which was truly wonderful. Informative, nice, courteous and outstanding driver and guide. Please tip them for their hard work because they do not ask.

This was a fabulous experience and one of our favorite walks ever. The driver, Davide, was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know clearly. It is definitely worth doing this walk in the evening as it was not too busy at all.

A beautiful spectacle of the sun setting beyond the mountains with orographic clouds in the valleys. Added thanks to our tour operator Luis who kept us entertained throughout the evening.

Excellent. Luis is terrific driver and very knowledgeable of the trail. Bring a jacket when the sun goes down, it’s bearable but can get cold quickly when sun sets.
