PR1ピコ・ド・アリエイロ セルフガイド付きハイキング送迎（午前枠）

Apart from our driver, Pedro, I did not have a good experience with this company. I booked a week in advance with a pickup confirmed for Machico. 12 hours before the tour they told me that a Machico pickup was not possible and that we could not cancel as it was within 24 hours of the tour start time.

Booked the PR1 tour but unfortunately part of the route was closed due to maintenance but we still managed to do the stairway to heaven, which was breathtaking. Viator then gave us the option to do the PR3 down the mountain. Really lovely walk. Cloud started to come in but still very good walk. Well organised and our driver Marco was amazing. Will come back to Madeira again to complete the PR1.

My flight was diverted due to the strong winds, so I reached Madeira a day later than initially intended. Unfortunately, I had a hiking trip booked the next day after I was initially supposed to come. So I had to cancel my booking, but I asked them to reschedule instead of cancelling. They just wrote they can not reschedule, because they are fully booked. But didn't even bother to ask me, how long I was staying in Madeira (which was a week). They were fully booked for a week? Really doubt that. More likely, they just took the opportunity to take free money (because the cancelation was too late to claim the refund) and just give my place to someone else. Was it worth it, "Do it Madeira"? I have booked with another company and will leave them a great review.

We had an excellent experience with this company for our PR1 hike transfer. Marco, our driver, was professional, friendly, and very reliable. He provided clear instructions before the hike, making sure we knew exactly where to go and what to expect. We were given 5 hours to complete the hike, which was more than enough time for us to enjoy the trail at a comfortable pace and still have lunch at the café before pickup. Everything was very well organized, and the timing worked perfectly. Communication from the company was outstanding throughout the entire process—prompt, efficient, and very helpful. We especially appreciated their assistance with purchasing our PR1 admission tickets, which made the experience completely stress-free. Overall, the service was reliable, professional, and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone planning to hike PR1 in Madeira.

Pedro was fantastic and made the whole experience seamless from start to finish. He was incredibly personable, shared so much knowledge about the area, and did an excellent job explaining the PR1 route and what to expect before we started. He also went above and beyond when he noticed I had accidentally booked the wrong hiking tax ticket and worked with his tour operator (thank you Julie and Logan!) during the drive up to help get it corrected, which I really appreciated. The hike itself was absolutely amazing and there’s plenty of time to complete it at a comfortable pace and still stop for a coffee or food at the shop at the end. I’d recommend bringing plenty of water and some coins if you plan to use the restroom near the end of the hike. I’d highly recommend booking this transfer. The parking lots were extremely full and we heard from other travelers that taxis back were very expensive, so this ended up being such an easy and stress-free option. Thanks again!

We were picked up exactly at the promised time by Marco. He was very helpful and kind. He told everything about Madeira and gave extra tips to visit. The hike it selves is very beautiful and all the way to Ruivo is intensive but duable if you are fit. Only the knees and feet you feel at the end but worthwhile to do this. Would recommend this to everyone! And good news the company can also arrange the tax tickets for you. Then you know you have the right ones as many booked the wrong tickets. And we had the whole day good weather where Funchal was clouded all day.

Amazing above the cloud experience, a lasting memory experience. Completed comfortably in 3.5 hours cafe break near the top and breathtaking views, lots of long tunnels!

Our driver was wonderful and enthusiastic, giving us lots of tips for future hikes. The downside was that PR1 was not open fully and we had to do PR1.3, which was not a hike we would have picked. Just not the views we were hoping for. The tour operators do not know if the full hike is open or not until they get there which seems to be that the Government does not communicate this well. The small fraction we got to do was a magical experience.

The guide was timely and very friendly! He gave us great direction and I would book another tour with them in the future
