Fabrice was our guide and driver. The trip to Normandy from Paris was about three hours and he got us there efficiently with an explanation of the Allied invasion along the way. We saw all the sites as promised, and he gave us a little talk at each location. It was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Pictures from D Day would have been helpful.
Our driver/guide, Régis, was fabulous - super knowledgeable about the sites aa well as WW2, making the trip a wonderful, enjoyable learning experience!

When the subject is D-Day you can read books and watch movies but the experience of being where such bravery and sacrifice occurred is overwhelming. Regis, our knowledgeable guide, was a wealth of information and details well beyond the battle. A visit to Normandy and Omaha Beach confirms beyond argument that freedom is not free.

Viator did a great job with advertising & offering the different types of sites for the customers. Making the reservation was easy & Viator did an amazing service of providing constant updates & communication throughout the entire process. On the day of the event the tour guide/ driver was prompt, very polite & professional. The guide was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the locations & sites we visited and explored. He provided additional details of the local areas that we traveled through. The guide kept us on track and provided a very relaxing experience. I would highly recommend Viator & this tour guide.
Regis was a terrific host and we loved having a personalized tour. He is very knowledgeable about the area and WWII. The timing of the stops was perfect. The area was absolutely beautiful and the weather was perfect.
Our guide went out of his way to make sure we saw everything we wanted and more! He definitely went the extra mile and even picked us up at our hotel.
Having known this site a few years ago, I am disappointed by this "obligatory" path that makes you not see much of the place anymore. The vegetation took over these rights, which is good but at the time being able to walk freely on the whole site was a more mature experience to really become aware of the place and its history.... In short a little disappointed
Bonjour Monsieur, Je vous avoue que je suis très étonné de cet avis deposé sur la page de mon entreprise car vous n’avez pas réservé de visites guidées avec Adrian Roads… Je comprends que vous puissiez être déçu des évolutions du circuit de visite sur le site de la Pointe du Hoc, mais ces décisions du choix du parcours de visite sur le site ont été prises par les instances régionales pour des raisons de sécurité (érosion des falaises et la dégradation des bunkers du fait de certains visiteurs). À cet égard, si vous souhaitez partager votre avis concernant le parcours de visite sur le site de la Pointe du Hoc, je vous invite donc de le faire sur la page appropriée , puisqu'il ne reflète en rien votre expérience de visite guidée avec Adrian Roads et porte préjudice à notre activité .
