Excellent, cool, fun time. Guide Chris was excellent.

We had a great time with Chris. He took us to three breweries, each better than the last. Apparently the one that is on virtually every tour, because they provide food, is the Church Beer Works. That is in a fantastic location, inside an old church, complete with stained glass. The beer and food were outstanding too. My favorite brewery was Lolev, with puts the untappd ratings of its beers right on the menu. When nothing is below a 4, you know it’s pretty good. Chris is a high school teacher who does this on weekends. Most of the best tour guides we’ve had have been educators, and this was no exception. Very outgoing, very knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We’ve been on another tour with this company so I know it’s standard to start with asking favorite beer styles. He took our input and crafted the menu around it. I have to apologize to my fellow tourist who tried the Lolev plum saison (saison being my favorite style), made a face, and pronounced that it was . At least I think she liked everything else, and I gave it top marks. Chris was also right when he said there was an IPA at our first stop that people who don’t like IPAs would like. All in all, a delicious and informative afternoon.

We loved the tour! Our beer guide was Brian G. and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable, friendly and kept everyone laughing! We had a great time meeting new people from other states and getting to see them enjoy our beautiful city!

Brian was great. He has a vast knowledge of brewing and brew/beer history. We went to three different local breweries around Pittsburgh. It was a very fun evening.

I was in town for the Steelers game and was looking for something to do on the Saturday before. The Beer Tour was great! Brian our tour guide was very knowledgeable on beer and brewing. If you are interested in seeing the city and visiting local breweries this is a great tour! I love sampling local beers and this is a great way to do that!
