早朝（8:00頃かそれ以前）にキャンディのホテルからドライバーがお迎えにあがり、文化と風光明媚な日帰りツアーを開始します。 まずは、カラフルなドラヴィダ建築とスピリチュアルな雰囲気で知られる、マタールのヒンドゥー教寺院「ムトゥリヤンマン寺院」を短時間訪れます。 その後、車で約1時間のダンブッラに進み、有名なダンブッラ洞窟寺院とユネスコ世界遺産の黄金寺院を探索します。 この洞窟複合体は見事な壁画と150体以上の仏像で飾られており、紀元前2世紀にさかのぼるものもある。 約1時間から1時間半の滞在になります。 訪問後は、地元のおすすめレストランでランチを楽しみましょう。 夕方には、ピドゥランガラ岩に向かい、やりがいのあるハイキングをお楽しみください。 登山の所要時間は約30～45分で、特に日没時にはシギリヤ岩の要塞の完璧な眺めとともに息をのむようなパノラマビューを楽しめます。 本当に思い出に残る体験が待っています。

We had a fantastic time with our guide Shamin. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and took particular care as we hiked down the rock in the middle of a downpour and suddenly surrounded by brand new waterfalls that popped out of nowhere! We expressed an interest in trying local food and he made multiple stops for us at short notice throughout the 11 hour tour to enjoy fresh snacks at the road side stalls. Thanks for a great day and especially for your understanding regarding our confusion with the start time, it really was appreciated.

I’m traveling solo and decided to do a day tour from Kandy to learn more about the area and do some hiking. Adhil picked me up from my accommodation in the morning and we spent the whole day together exploring, hiking and laughing :) He is very knowledgeable and fun and offered to stop anywhere along the way. He suggested that we hike Pidurangala and I’m so glad we did! It wasn’t too busy and the view was gorgeous! This tour was so much more than I expected. Adil took me on several stops including an Ayurvedic herb garden, a Hindu temple, as well as Dambulla and Pidurangala. Even with all the stops, I never felt rushed and enjoyed each site for as long as I pleased. The highlight was definitely hiking up to the top of Pidurangala and spending a good chunk of time just admiring the view and enjoying the peace and quiet from a vantage point far above the fray. Adil was such a delightful guide (and very safe driver). It was such a pleasure chatting with him and learning about the life, customs, and history of Sri Lanka. I would definitely recommend this tour.
