We spent a total of 3 wonderful days with Louis: We saw Cape Town city tour, a wine tour and the Cape Peninsula. All wishes were met and all questions about the land and wine answered and we laughed a lot too. Thank you very much for that!:-)

We are repeat offenders with Camino Wine Tours - great fun with a very knowledgeable guide. Having personal contacts at the wineries, Louis gets you behind the scenes for private walk arounds. Excellent.

Our small group had an amazing time with Jan over the last weekend in April; he's a winemaker himself and taught us a ton about wine in between each visit and lunch. He also drove us through Stellanbosch and told us some about the town and university. He was prompt in pickup and dropoff from the waterfront in Cape Town, and his vehicle was comfortable for our size. The wineries were all great options, and we'd love to come back and do another tour sometime with Camino. This was our 2nd!

Great time! Louis took us to the most amazing wineries. That you Louis! The neat lart was he knew where to go. There was another tour a little cheaper but was customized to take you where you wanted to go. If you do t ha e an agenda- -this tour is superb!

Our group of four really enjoyed our recent tour with Martin! Not only did we visit some amazing and beautiful wineries, but Martin also shared really interesting ‘behind the scenes’ insight as someone who used to work in the wine business. We especially appreciated that the itinerary chose wineries where big tour buses don’t stop—at most of them we were the only ones there and it felt like totally private events. An added appreciation to Antoinette and Martin: we planned this tour for the day we were catching an evening flight and it was so helpful to be able to bring our luggage with us and just get dropped at the airport at the tour’s conclusion. Made the day (which otherwise would have been stressful with managing luggage between our check-out and departure times) MUCH more enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend this tour (with Martin especially!) for anyone who wants to learn more about and visit wonderful SA vineyards.

We had a great day on a wine tour. We even got a booking for lunch at a place that we hoped for even if it was fully booked. Great day!

Just WOW! We are a couple and did the private wine tour from Cape Town. Antoinette was so fabulous - I explained what we were looking for and she fully customized our tour and it was absolutely perfect. We were looking for somewhere with great views and the places she recommended were beyond anything I ever imagined. Louis, our guide was also amazing, so accommodating, funny and a wealth of interesting information about everything wine. We are novices when it comes to wine and he made us feel so, so comfortable. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family. Great value for your money.

We had the most amazing day ... paying a little extra for a private tour was definitely worth it ... being able to create your own tour is great - I requested a couple of the estates and Antoinette included a 'secret' Swartland estate, which we discovered upon arrival ... which was CAPAIA - it turned out to be our favourite! It was very exclusive experience. So thank you Antoinette for the recommendation :-) Also meeting the winemakers themselves was very special. We had the most amazing lunch at The Royal Hotel in Riebeek Kasteel - worth a visit - and if you have time a little look around the town. Louis was fabulous - very accommodating & patient - even when we purchased our 18th bottle of wine .... mmmmhhh ... nothing to do with the amount of wine we had consumed on the tour LOL, we are still savouring our last 3 bottles. Thank you to both of you for doing a great job :-)

Four of us had a lovely day with Camino Wine Tours. Our itinerary was suggested by Antionette and conducted by Mark. The day was perfect: wine and cheese at Mitre's Edge with the wonderful Lola; wine and biltong with beautiful views at at L'Avenir; a wonderful tapas style lunch at Haskell Vineyards all finished off with wine and chocolate at stunning Waterford. Sadly we were some of the last guests before coronavirus impacted everyone. Wishing you all the best and hope you get back to normality soon.

I was returning to Cape Town after 50 years to re-visit some of the places I spent as a child. Camino Private Package put together a personalised tour from a list of places I gave them so I could share them with my wife and see again for myself. To see if places had changed and refresh my memories. We departed from Camps Bay, went over Chapman Peak drive, across to Simons Town, a stop in Fish Hoek, lunch at Kalk Bay, a visit to a winery in Constantia and finally to my old junior school in Mowbray before dropping us back at our hotel. Loius - our driver - was nothing short of amazing. I would strongly recommend this company for friendliness, promptness and generosity with time and understanding. Thank you Louis and Camino for making this happen.
