This was, hands down, one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. My husband and I did a private Pearl Harbor tour with Lui, and it exceeded every expectation. Lui wasn’t just knowledgeable — he was a walking encyclopedia, and his passion for Pearl Harbor and the island of Oahu was contagious. We learned so much history we had no idea about, and he brought it all to life in a way no book or documentary ever could. What made this tour truly special is that Lui is a submarine veteran himself. His personal insight and perspective gave the whole experience a depth and authenticity you simply can’t get otherwise. On top of that, he was warm, kind, and seemed to know everyone on the island — it felt like touring with a friend rather than a guide. We cannot recommend this tour enough. If you book a Pearl Harbor tour, do yourself a favor and request Lui specifically. You will not be disappointed!
