We loved our day with Carlos. He is passionate about nature and communicates that passion to us with ease and enthusiasm. His knowledge of the area is impressive and has greatly benefited us.

Excellent day hiking with Carlos. It was a misty rainy day but made for a magical hike! Carlos had umbrellas for us. Some parts were a little tricky with wet rocks but easy to navigate with trekking poles

It was a really amazing experience especially because we had an incredibly knowledgeable guide who pointed out different species of plants and animals. The hiking part was just right, and Carlos our guide made it more interesting and enjoyable. He was also very well versed in the history of the place . The restaurant stop was also quite an experience-we had the classic alheira washed down with excellent green wine . I give this 10 stars .

We are a family of 5 who likes outdoor adventure and hiking. This was a great trip to Portugal’s national park. We had a great morning hiking a trail through forests and fields learning about the flora, fauna, and terrain. The afternoon we spent at a couple of waterfalls where we were able to swim in the pools formed in the rock. Our guide Carlos was kind and very informative. We enjoyed hearing about the area and his experiences. We would highly recommend this trip.

My wife and I experienced a wonderful hike of the National Forest with our great tour guide Samuel, who was helpful and very knowledgeable about the terrain, trees, brush, animals and the area. We saw so much beauty! Samuel was fun, too. His love of the forest and passion for natural outdoor beauty enhanced our experience greatly! Thank you, Samuel and aviator!

On a misty and foggy day, we had a magical hike through the mountains, and a visit to the ancient Roman road. From the moment he picked us up, Carlos was an excellent guide, sharing insights into local agriculture, Portuguese tradition and food, as well as the history, flora, and fauna of the park. Well worth getting the private tour, so you can go at your own speed and adjust the tour to suit your preference. And the park is amazing to visit, whether on a cool and foggy day or in the bright sun.

A very interesting and varied route, with different landscapes, accessible roads, changing environments. interesting to travel the Roman road, the remains of the bridges, the oak forests. A Carlos Guide, pending everything. attentive to show us every detail of the environments, plants, minerals, history. the excursion is highly recommended. We found several cows with their calves, which did not pose any problem to continue the tour.
