午前10時30分、ラ・マール通りでスピードボートに乗船し、カヤオ島のツアーに出発します。 旅の間、南太平洋を探検し、岩の造形を眺めたり、釣りの活動を観察します。 干潮時に遺跡が見える、地震で水没したエル・カモタル島を訪れます。 海軍基地やチリ兵の墓地、インカ以前の考古学遺跡が20以上あることで知られる「謎の島」サン・ロレンソに迫ります。 船上からは、1980年代にシャイニング・パスの囚人が収容された刑務所の廃墟で知られるエル・フロントン島も眺めます。 フンボルトペンギンの重要なコロニーがあるカビンザス諸島へ進み、パロミノ諸島を一周してグアノ鳥と8000頭以上のアシカの生態系を観察します。 希望者はこれらの動物の間を泳ぐことができる。 午後1時にカヤオ集合場所でツアーは終了します。

We had a really incredible trip - we swam with the sea lions, saw whales breaching, and saw pelicans and penguins up close. The guides were knowledgable. It was a really rough crossing and everyone got sick but the crew were really helpful and kind. We also appreciated that they took photos and videos with a GoPro and provided them for free.
Trip was cancelled due to weather. I certainly understand that is out of their control, however my issue is with the poor communication from the company. I was notified within a half hour of the meeting time, so I was already in an uber to the location. That meant a lot of time in traffic and wasted money. The company was unwilling to offer an apology for the poor communication or a discount for rebooking. For a hospitality company, that is unfortunate and I would recommend booking with another tour.
