パエストゥム (旧ポセイドニア) のヘラ 2 世神殿はそれより古いものですが、現在でも誤認により「ポセイドン神殿」または「ネプトゥヌス神殿」と呼ばれることがよくあります。この寺院は、パエストゥムにある 2 つのヘラー寺院のうち、より北にある新しい寺院です。
ケレス神殿としても知られるアテナ神殿 (紀元前 500 年頃) は、パエストゥムにあるギリシャ神殿で、いわゆるバシリカの近くにあり、バシリカよりもかなり大きいです。
紀元前7世紀に遡るギリシャの郷土美術品の豊富なコレクションを誇る魅力的な国立考古学博物館を探索しましょう。 パエストゥムの博物館の疑いようのない見所は、「海人の墓」で見つかったフレスコ画である。

Mario, our escort, was professional, kind, and friendly, in addition to having an in-depth knowledge of the history of Posidonia/Paestum. Highly recommended! Furthermore, unfortunately, with the sweltering heat, the stops were always well organized in shaded areas.
