This 3 hour paella making class with our host Bernie was a fun experience and easy to participate in for novice cooks. Ingredients were precut which helped but the cooking process was still engaging. Lots of wine and other treats made it a fun experience. Enjoyed meeting other people and sharing our different paella together at the end!

Our family of five had an awesome experience. Benny (along with his assistant) was an excellent instructor as we made six different paellas in our class of 11 people. Every part of the experience from hors d’oeuvres and sparking wine as we cooked, cooking the paella from precut/measured ingredients, enjoying our dishes, wine and dessert and conversation with other members of the group in a quaint historic room was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Thank you to Benny for a memorable experience and teaching us how to make the best paella we tasted on our 12 day trip to Spain. Salud!!

We had such a fantastic experience at the Cooking Clubhouse in Madrid! This was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was incredibly well organized from start to finish. The venue was spotless, and all of the ingredients were prepped and ready to go. We loved that everyone worked in pairs to prepare a single paella, which made it very interactive and fun. Our instructor was wonderful. She clearly loves what she does, and her enthusiasm and energy made the class even more enjoyable. We were traveling as a family of four, including two teenagers (ages 15 and 18), and every one of us had a great time. We highly recommend the Cooking Clubhouse to anyone visiting Madrid. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a unique family activity, this class is absolutely worth it!

This paella class was the best introduction to paella in Madrid. We learned the process of making it and our instructor was able to show us what we are looking for when we make it at home. We tried all of the paellas later family style and it was a great experience.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Nico, Diego, and the entire staff made this such a special event for all of us. The space itself is beautiful and completely private so it's just the teaching team and the class attendees in the whole building, which has some interesting history as well. The course moved at a perfect pace, and we were able to ask questions to ensure we really understood the technique. Bottomless wine is 100% accurate - our glasses were never empty and they are happy to accommodate your preference. Not only were the paella dishes delicious, but so were all the other treats the team prepared for us to enjoy. If you are into cooking at all, I would HIGHLY recommend this course and the Cooking Clubhouse in general. Great experience and we left with the cookbook, ready to go make paella back home!

One of the most fantastic experiences we have ever had - so much fun! It is a "must do" for anyone visiting Madrid - we took the class with our family and are so happy we did! Amazing, fun, entertaining and knowledgeable team of chefs to help you cook (and make sure it was going as planned) great upbeat music and wine! We were laughing from the moment we got there. The paella was amazing - do not miss this!!!

This was an amazing experience! Not only was Benny phenomenal, but he was an amazing teacher. They accommodated food allergies and I would absolutely recommend this experience to others!

What an incredible experience! From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully planned and so much fun. The location is fantastic, especially the beautiful downstairs dining area. We enjoyed our meal in a charming brick room with candlelit tables—it was cozy, elegant, spotless, and air-conditioned. We were welcomed by the friendly staff with a glass of champagne before taking a short walk to the local market. There, we learned about local traditions and sampled delicious regional foods—such a great way to start the experience! Afterward, we returned to the kitchen to prepare five different types of paella. The chefs were outstanding—knowledgeable, experienced, engaging, and incredibly patient. They guided us through every step of the cooking process, but we did all the hands-on work ourselves, which made it even more rewarding. One of the best parts was sharing the experience with wonderful families and couples from around the world. Once everything was ready, we enjoyed not only our own creations but everyone's dishes, along with appetizers, dessert, and unlimited champagne, white wine, red wine, or water. The black Squid was a favorite (which shocked me and wasn't what we cooked). The entire class lasted about two and 1/2 hours, and every minute was enjoyable. If you're looking for a unique, interactive, and delicious experience, this is an absolute must-do. We truly loved it and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
