If you’re in Antigua and looking for an adventure, this was hands down one of the best experiences of our Guatemala trip! The ATV ride itself was an adrenaline rush from start to finish. We rode through rugged terrain, climbed the slopes of Pacaya Volcano, and made our way across the incredible lava fields. It felt extreme at times in the best, most exciting way possible but the guides made us feel safe throughout the entire tour. One thing I really appreciated was how well prepared Simoon Tours was. They provided each of us with a backpack stocked with a sandwich, water, Gatorade, chips, and cookies, which came in handy after all the riding and exploring. When the weather turned and it started raining, they immediately handed out ponchos so we could continue enjoying the experience comfortably. The scenery was unreal. Riding ATVs through volcanic landscapes, standing on black lava rock, and seeing the massive volcano up close felt like being on another planet. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially with the dramatic clouds rolling over the volcano. The guides were friendly, organized, and kept the energy fun the entire time. Everything was well coordinated from pickup to drop-off. If you’re visiting Antigua and debating whether this tour is worth it DO IT. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, stunning scenery, and unforgettable memories. Easily one of the highlights of our Guatemala trip. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend Simoon Tours!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience with Sierigo from Simoon Travels on the ATV Pacaya tour. We loved riding through the beautiful nature and enjoying the stunning scenery along the way. Sierigo was very kind, patient, and professional. He always made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. He was constantly looking back to ensure that everyone in the group under his guidance was following and doing well. When our ATV got stuck in rocky or muddy areas, he quickly came to help with a smile and great strength. His support and attention to the group made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the adventure. My family did the Pacaya ATV tour and it was awesome. I was worried about it being weak and a slow single file line the whole time. We were pleasantly surprised when we traveled roads, trails, and lava fields. The lava fields were like a motocross course. It was my wife and three sons on the trip and we all have a lot of ATV experience. You will have plenty of opportunities to drive fast and let loose. I highly recommend the tour. It was a great time.

Never rode an atv in my life but I have motorcycle experience which is a bit different. The course was challenging and they are right to recommend having previous atv experience. However, the guides were quite patient and encouraging and once I got the hang of it, the experience was amazing, especially the ride back with the clouds rolling over the road. Top tier experience. Although the weather was not great but our guis Eric was fantastic. We had a great time conversing with him along the trip and have really good insight of the country and which restaurant ya to eat at. Great Tim

Wonderful experience if you like adventure and extreme sports. They were truly amazing in their knowledge and service.

Good time with friends. The ride in the bus from Antigua and back is a little rough about an hour and a half each way. We got back to Antigua about 5-530pm that evening. Highly suggest wearing long pants, comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting very dirty and a long sleeve UV protection shirt.

From start to finish the tour guides were amazing, friendly, informative, bilingual and patient. We got to experience local routes to our stopping points. Went to lake, walked on lava stones felt heat from volcano. Fun filled. The lunch they packed was also good and goodie bag with snacks and drinks was also included. Definitely will be using them again for another tour tomorrow. Don’t miss out on the fun book then now… no need to hesitate out double think it prices are very worth it as well!!!!

Our experience was phenomenal! Our guide, Estuardo, and the girl (I think her name was Nery) were very friendly. They were very patient with us since we had never ridden ATVs before. Both were incredible and knew a lot about the history of the places they took us to. I highly recommend them!
