Our private safari at Salt Lick Safari Lodge was truly an unforgettable experience! Our communication with the organiser was excellent. We were kept well informed in advance via WhatsApp about availability at Salt Lick Lodge, which helped us plan our stay much more easily. The location itself is absolutely worth visiting, and I would highly recommend spending at least one night there. The lodge is uniquely designed to offer spectacular views of the animals gathering around the waterhole, making the whole experience even more special. The food was varied and delicious, and the service throughout our stay was very good. One of the most magical moments of our trip was during breakfast, when a family of elephants came to the lodge to drink water. Seeing them so close to us was simply incredible and something we will never forget. Last but certainly not least, our guide Benjamin made this trip truly exceptional. He was friendly, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable about the animals and their behaviour. He was also very respectful towards the wildlife and made every effort to ensure we saw as many animals as possible in the park. Thanks to him, our safari was even more memorable.

During our Safari trip we had 1 night here. We first slept at Taita Hills and then went here the next day. This is a really special location so in the middle of the savannah with the animals. The animals really walk by and under the house. Because of the waterhole that the hotel provides, all animals come here to drink. The hotel itself is also very neat, clean, staff is friendly and the food is tasty.

Wow what an experience Our guide Franics from Wild Bond Tours was brilliant He asked us what do you want to see. We said elephants he found them Giraffe he found them and the cream on the cake was the lions he found them we would highly recommend Franics and Wild Bond Tours at a five star level. The experience has been incredibile. The accommodation is well organized and furnished. The staff was the kindest I've ever met, the food awesome and the room super clean and comfortable! My guide and drive Edward has been a real gentleman, very calm and discrete but very committed to his job that is finding the best spots to see animals!

Our tour guide was a good driver going to Tvaso West National Park, however he was a terrible tour guide once inside the park. He gave us very little information about our stay at the Salt Lick Lodge which is in serious need of updating. The meals were ok. As far as the game drives, he rarely spoke to us unless we asked a question. One of the passengers in our group consistently spotted the animals in the park instead of him. When we would ask him a question, he didn't seem to understand our question, therefore we got little to no information about the safari animals. Other friends did this excursion also and were very disappointed as well. We were very disappointed that our tour guide was so awful and the drive from our cruise ship and back was over 4.5 hours each day not including the hours you spend in the vehicle doing game drives. My suggestion is to go to Tsavo East which is 3 hours away and much better animal viewing up close.

It all depends on the communication you have with the company and the tour operator. In my case, I experienced several confusing communication problems. Most important, they tried to change my hotel stay while I had already received a confirmation. This stressed me for several days!

It was a pleasure having Benjam as our guide. His welcoming when he picked us up was very kind, so we felt comptable from the very first beginning. During the car drive to the national park he explained a lot about the trees and plants we passed. Inside the park he answered all of our queations, in a professionel kinda way. He is doin his job for more than 18 years. What also relaxed us, he is a good and save car driver too. What we loved, was the way he treated the animals, so he let them pass before we drove by, or turned off the car so the animals would not feel afraid or borthered. He is a thoughtful person not just to human beeings. We saw lions, elephants, pumbas, zebras, giraffes and so much more. Thanks to this interresting, exciting and heart warmig adventure made possible by Benjamin, who always wanted us to feel good by the way. So if you want to learn something about the animals inside tsavo nationalparks choose Benjamin as your guide. We can recommand 100%! Kevin and Peggy from Germany.
