Highly recommended! During the 2-hr walking tour, we went inside five magnificent jewels of Chicago architecture spanning a hundred years, from the birth of the Chicago skyscrapers to the postmodern era. Our guide Hilary is a real expert with in depth knowledge in arts, architecture, history, (and speaks many languages!) and is also so fun! We learned a lot and felt the time passed too quickly. The amount of walking is light and pleasant and the pace is perfect. This tour is absolutely worth the value!

Wonderful tour filled with lots of beautiful buildings and interesting history. We had lots of questions as my son is really interested in architecture and design and our guide was great about answering all of them!

The places visites were iconique, but what distiinquished this tour was the exception guide. She had deep knowledge, and a warm, inviting personality. If you take only one tour in Chicago, it should be this.

Hillary was our tour guide. She provided lots of fascinating details about the history and construction of the buildings we visited. Being a fellow “word nerd,” I especially enjoyed the Cultural Arts Center, and her commentary on language connection.

We learned so much about Chicago and the buildings we went to… it was awesome! Our tour guide was phenomenal and very well educated in the history of the buildings and Chicago as a whole. We had a great time. There were so many beautiful buildings we never even knew existed.

We live in Chicago but wanted to be a tourist in our own city. The tour was outstanding ! Spencer did a great job and you can really see his passion for and knowledge of the city. Highly recommend for out of town guest or long time Chicagoans to learn about hidden gems hiding in plain sight.

Use the bathroom in the station by the meeting point- tour is 2 hours long. Spencer was our guide- he was so friendly and informative & added his own personal experiences at each stop.

We saw Chicago from the Willis tower, from the river and by walking hours through the city. But going inside the buildings with a knowledgeable guide was so unexpected, never realized how beautiful this is. Thank you Dave for 2 hours of great stories.

Heath provided great insight on a number of historic buildings in the downtown area. The pace of the tour was perfect. His knowledge about the history of the buildings and the city is outstanding and I'd like to do it again if I get the chance. It's a great way to learn about the city for tourists, newcomers and long-time residents of the area. Well done, Heath!
