The tour guide was polite, personable and had a wealth of knowledge. He also knew some of the people working at sites around the old town, which added to the experience. It was a great tour in general, but all the more so considering how good the price is.
Sarvar is a fantastic guide! His English is excellent. He is engaging and fantastic at answering questions. Highly recommend :)
Beginning: a bit bumpy! The planned time for the tour was unexpectedly moved from the cool morning hours of 9:00 to the hottest part of the day at 14:00, which we graciously declined. At nearly 40°C, any reasonable person takes a siesta. End: All's well that ends well! Upon our inquiry, we were then able to reschedule the tour to the next day in the morning hours, which made it a very pleasant experience. The professional guide, who had just completed his studies in tourism, made the history of his home region accessible in a competent, unobtrusive, and very personal way. This city tour not only became a fact-rich walk but also a true intercultural encounter, EG, Germany
Sarvar was a great guide to give the Khiva walking tour. His English is excellent and he took time to get to know his guests and I could tell he had such a passion for the history and culture of the city he grew up in of Khiva. He took us all around the Itchan Kala and explained buildings, history and people to us in a way that I never would have understood without a guide. Truly a 10/10 experience
We had a great experience and a fantastic tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Khiva and Uzbekistan as a whole. He ws able to answer all questions and gave time to both see the sites and take pictures/videos etc. I highly recommend this tour for your trip in Khiva. You basically get to visit all the main sites with thorough explanations.

Sarvar was an excellent guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke fantastic English. Having grown up in Khiva old town, he was an expert in the local history and culture and it showed. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Khiva!

This was a fabulous tour of some of the key sites in the old city in Khiva Our guide, Sarvar, was great. Put history into context, gave very clear explanations was thoughtful and considerate, and a really nice person. Hus English was excellent. One of them best guides we've had in Central Asia l.
