沖縄 西表島 半日 西表島のド定番！世界遺産を楽しめるマングローブSUPorカヌークルージング

We had booked a mangrove experience on canoes for the morning. The agency provided us with all the necessary gear and information, as well as a great guide. We do not speak Japanese, so we were looking for an English speaking tour and they found one for us. Our guide Ryoma even gave us some interesting information about the island wildlife while we were going to the river. Then we all got onto our canoes and went down the river and into the mangrove forest. There we got off our canoes and explored the coast on foot. It was very interesting and also exciting. The river is quite calm so even though we had little experience with canoes, we had no problems. Overall a very nice way to spend the morning and explore the more wild parts of Iriomote.

My two sons were a little nervous because it was their first experience in elementary school, but as parents I was very happy that they warmly watched over me and made the tour content prioritize my son's interests (living things). He also spoke to me gently, and before I knew it, I was in the wilderness of Iriomote Island. I was also happy that you took so many photos and videos! When I came to Iriomote Island again, I wanted to participate with a different plan. Thank you very much✳︎

I went to visit Iriomote Island for Sagaribana. I signed up for a half-day mangrove kayak tour with an early morning Sagaribana tour. I was able to kayak to Edasawa, a tributary of the Urauchi River, and enjoyed the view of the mangrove forest.

When my snorkeling reservation was cancelled due to the approaching typhoon, I was offered this plan and joined. I know it was difficult to contact and coordinate with the tour participants as the situation on the ship and the sea changed drastically, but you could contact us from time to time and participate without any problems. Due to the typhoon, the wind was strong and there was a lot of sunshine, but the mangrove forest was very quiet and I enjoyed the healing space under the sunlight through the trees. The return trip was a headwind, and I needed a lot of power lol Thank you to our guides, Easekun and Kenken! We enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour and also we were very happy to see Aurora on our last night. I look forward to seeing you again when I go to Iriomote.

The two guide brothers were very kind and polite and safe, and it was the first mangrove canoeing experience for a family with children, but it was a great memory. We were very grateful for the information and recommended shops on Iriomote Island even in the moving car. It was also helpful to be able to rent a shower after the experience. We will also use it when visiting Iriomote Island. Thank you for your valuable experience.
