It’s like the entrance to another world! With brick buildings reminiscent of ancient ruins and subtropical flowers and fruits such as orchids blooming all year round, the garden is truly a tropical paradise. The 36m-tall symbolic tower observation deck offers a panoramic view of the blue ocean. We’ll take you to hidden gems beyond just Churaumi Aquarium! A flower guide will explain the seasonal flowers! (Approx. 20 minutes) Ride the sightseeing car through the expansive park, and easily travel to Churaumi Aquarium ♪
The highlight is the whale sharks and manta rays in one of the world’s largest tanks! There are many other thing to see, including cute dolphin shows; the Tropical Dream Center with many subtropical flowers (admission charged); Oceanic Culture Museum with a Planetarium (admission charged); and a Native Okinawan Village, a reproduction of a village from the time of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Last summer (2021), sea turtles hatched some babies and manatees had baby boy too! Please stop by at the “Sea Turtle Pool” and “Manatee Pool” respectively to see them! ※(including a visit to the Tropical Dream Center) ※Okichan Theater/Dolphin show (Free, duration about 10 min) ※There are multiple restaurants in the Ocean Expo Park. Good guidance and fun to see a lot in a short time.
I had a great time on this bus tour. The price was great, and the tour guide and staff were very nice.
Nice trip and reasonable fee , however did not get much support for non Japanese speaker . There was some miscommunication and and we had wasted our lunch without even touching it
Great time at the Aquarium and Botanical Garden. The "walk" in the Bise no Fukugi Tree Road was a total waste of time and should be removed. Our tour guide Yumi was wonderful!
Was great, little time in the aquarium but saw mega much in one day. I would do it again
I was uncomfortable driving on the opposite side so this was a great option for me to explore beyond Naha. The guide was great and did the tour in Japanese and English. The highlight for me was the tropical gardens. I’ve never seen so many orchards before. That entire complex was good with enough time to efficiently see a lot of it. I also did the lunch which was very convenient and was quite good.
This was a great way to see Churaumi Aquarium and American Village. No need to worry about driving and you spent just the right amount of time at each location…with some extra sights along the route!
Awesome tour of aquarium and surrounding sites. Koko was a great guide and made the experience quite enjoyable. Small group and very personable.
Extremely disappointed. Very frustrating that the tour guide did not speak any English. Google Map direction to the meeting point were very helpful. How do I get my money back?.
Great tour and great sights visited, however,... The guide made no effort to engage with non-Japanese guests... This made things very difficult to comprehend. I had to ask other Japanese guests to help with translations. The guide was very annoyed when I asked for information regarding the tour, departure times, and other relevant information. This tour is not ideal for non-Japanese guests and is not recommended for people wanting to learn more about Okinawa.
