Driver was friendly and shared a lot of great information. The plantation was interesting. The oaks were beautiful.
It was a wonderful adventure! Beautiful plantation, good experience with bus driver. Would highly recommend this tour.
I appreciated the format taken in sharing the plantation experience. Contrasting the life of a house slave vs the plantation family. However I would have liked more detail such as how old the oak trees were, or where is the kitchen. There was minimal time to see the various rooms or even to know what pieces of furniture were used for.

The grounds being so well preserved and the tour and volunteers sharing so much more information really gave us a feel for how the plantation came to be and how it operated. The restaurant and gift shop were wonderful and the food and service was fantastic.

Beautifully maintained and preserved plantation home and grounds. The 28 massive oak trees are magnificent. The home guide was very knowledgeable and invited questions. Seeing sugar cane being grown was also interesting.
