Thanks Alex for the wonderful day, however the tour is well organized and Alex is on time for all the activities. Even though the trip was bumpy, we still enjoyed and having a fun day.

Beautiful coastline
The perfect day to be driven around by a very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable tour guide. We had the best weather to enable views of the most beautiful breathtaking scenery! Tasmania is truly magical. Highly recommend to all

A really nice day trip!
Excellent tour -- loved going up the coast. The hike is a treat. Gorgeous views. The only disappointment was that the day was a bit cloudy -- I'd definitely do it on a sunny day. I liked the lunch stop at the winery but wasn't really invested in Richmond.
I kind of felt bad for some older folks who didn't know the hike was as steep as it was. I didn't think it was particularly hard, but it's not for people with mobility issues.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful East Coast, the Wineglass Bay Lookout walk and our lunch stop at Devil’s Corner. The weather can certainly change the views, but even on a cloudy day Freycinet has its own special beauty.
We appreciate your comments about the walk as well. It is a moderate uphill walk with quite a few steps, and while many guests find it manageable at their own pace, it can be challenging for those with mobility limitations. We always encourage guests to take their time and offer alternative scenic stops for those who prefer not to do the walk.

Wineglass bay
It was good experience for the trip. Everything was organised. Enjoyed the personality of the tour guide brought to the tour. The weather wasn’t that sun shining. It worked out well for climbing the steps to the lookout. Got chance to be dropped off near the place we stayed which was very helpful.

Don't Miss this Tour
Alex was a very accommodating tour guide and driver. The day was amazing and so memorable!
1. All the stops and interim stops had clean restrooms
2. Each stop was beautiful, lots to see and engage.
3. Honeymoon Bay was a splendid excursion. Easy walk over to the small camp/resort for a meal and a few souvenirs.
4. Shopping in Richmond was a fun treat along with lots of sweet treat options! I brought a few children's books by local authors and they have been a big hit with my granddaughter.
5. Devil's Corner Cellar Door was such a beautiful venue with fresh local food options! Rolling hills and a gorgeous view of the water.
Highly recommend this tour to get a wide breadth of experiences packed into one easy day.
Notes:
1. Bring bug spray for mosquitoes at Honeymoom Bay and Wime Glass Bay
2. If you're prone to car sickness, take dramamine or whatever, the night before AND the morning of! You'll be in a multo-passenger van on rural winding roads. Braking, curves, hills, etc.
3. The hike up to view Wine Glass Bay is Moderate to Strenuous DEPENDING on the individual. Do your homework to make your own determination. Several folks in their 30s - 50s were caught off guard on the effort required on the steep graded set of stairs on the trail.

So disappointed with the service.
This morning, we were in front of our hotel (pick up location) at least 10 minutes before 7:00 am (the pickup time). We NEVER saw the pickup vehicle. After patiently waiting there for 15 minutes and I called the contact number. A man picked up the phone and said he had waited for us a long time, texted me 3 times and refused to stop by the hotel again, and then he hung up on me. I quickly checked on my phone and notice that I did NOT receive any text messages or phone calls this morning. I can provide my phone and text messages records during that period of time, and the hotel security camera can also show that I am telling the truth. We have been traveling many places around the world. This was our 1st time encountered in this situation. So frustrated!!!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you missed the tour, but for the benefit of future travellers we feel it is important to clarify what occurred.
Your booking confirmation clearly states under “Important Pickup Information” that guests must be ready at their specified pickup time and location and that a text message will be sent the day before the tour confirming the pickup location and time details.
As advised, the day before your tour we sent you a message confirming your specific pickup time and designated meeting point, together with a map showing exactly where to meet the vehicle. The designated meeting point was important and was not simply a general instruction to wait in front of the hotel.
Our vehicle attended the designated pickup location as scheduled. Importantly, another guest booked on the same tour and staying at the same hotel was successfully collected and completed the tour that day.
When you did not arrive at the designated meeting point, we attempted to contact you twice by WhatsApp before departing, but unfortunately received no response. You contacted us at approximately 7:12am, after the tour had already departed Hobart.
At that stage, returning was unfortunately not possible without delaying the other guests and disrupting the day's itinerary.
We appreciate that missing a tour is frustrating. However, we cannot agree with the suggestion that the pickup vehicle did not attend or that no attempt was made to contact you. We have records of the pickup instructions and map sent to you, the attempted WhatsApp calls, our passenger manifest, and the successful pickup of another guest from the same hotel.
We always encourage guests to carefully read both their booking confirmation and the pickup message sent the day before the tour, as the designated meeting point may differ from simply waiting outside the hotel.

Fantastic day at Wineglass Bay
This was a fantastic full-day tour and a great way to experience Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park. The scenery throughout the day was absolutely beautiful, especially the views from Wineglass Bay Lookout and the stops around Freycinet. Our guide Alex was passionate, knowledgeable, and humorous. He shared lots of interesting information about Tasmania and kept the long day entertaining and engaging. Highly recommend this tour!

Great full day trip to Wineglass Bay
We had a great time on the Freycinet & Wineglass Bay Full Day Tour, and a big thank you to our guide, Alex!
Alex was a very skilled and careful driver, and he managed the timing really well throughout the day. Thanks to his good time management, we were able to stay on schedule and make the most of our stops at Wineglass Bay, Devil’s Corner Winery and Richmond.
The walk up to the Wineglass Bay lookout was manageable even without proper hiking gear, and the view at the top was absolutely amazing — definitely one of the highlights of the trip!
We also really enjoyed our visit to Devil’s Corner Winery. The lady at the counter was lovely and very generous with the wine tasting. Although the tasting set we purchased included three types of wine, she was kind enough to let us try four, which was a really nice touch.
Our stop at Richmond was unfortunately quite short, at around 25 minutes, and as we arrived at about 4:20pm on a Sunday, most of the shops were already closed. It would have been nice to have a little more time there, but we understand that there was a lot to fit into a full-day itinerary.
Overall, we had a wonderful day and really appreciated Alex’s driving, punctuality and effort in making sure we could see as much as possible. We would definitely recommend this tour!
