大yu院（大y院）は、家康の孫である三光徳川将軍家光の霊isです。家光の豪華な霊complexは、そのレイアウトと建築において東照宮近くに似ていますが、祖光に対する家光の深い敬意により、意図的に東照宮よりやや控えめに建てられました。太陰院は家光の死後の名前です。
輪王寺（輪王寺）は日光の最も重要な寺院です。 8世紀に日光を仏教に導いた仏教僧、正道正人によって設立されました。 寺の本館である三仏堂には、金色に塗られた大きなアミダの木像、千住観音（「千手観音」）、バト観音（「馬頭観音」）があります。三神は、二荒山神社にenられている日光三神の仏像とされています。三but堂の10年にわたる改修は2019年春に完了しました。
田母沢御用邸（田母沢御用邸）は、106室の客室全体で、江戸の伝統建築と明治初期の明治建築を融合させています。このヴィラは、1899年に日光に元々東京にあった住居の一部を使用して建てられました。 日光に移される前、この建物は当初、徳川家の支店の東京の住居として機能し、後に皇居として一時的に使用されました。日光では、皇居のために夏の住居と撤退に拡大されましたが、第二次世界大戦後に放置されました。 2000年には、大規模な改修工事の後、ヴィラが一般公開されました。

What a great day. Had the most wonderful tour guide, Karen. She helped us every but if the way and kept in contact till we met up. We travelled from Tokyo, Shinjuku for the day and gad the best time. Karen was simply a wonderful thoughtful tour guide. We are leaving tomorrow but had we of stayed longer we would have asked for her for another tour.
This is a wonderful experience and one every Westerner should consider when they visit Japan. It helps understand the country better. It is a very peaceful and restful place in a crowded sea. We had the pleasure of spending the day at the Heritage sight in Nikko with Siezo, our favourite guide this trip. His English is excellent, he is polite, considerate, spent time and effort creating an excellent itinerary, arranged and paid for all the train tickets in advance, a total joy. Our whole day was an excellent experience, we kept to time and covered everything we had planned for. Absolutely amazing tour in Nikko. We wanted to see something other than the city, someplace rich with history. Nikko did not disappoint. The architecture was breathtaking. Kyoko, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable regarding the shrine and the entire historical site. What a great experience! I highly recommend the Nikko tour along with our guide, Kyoko.

This is a full day tailored to your interest, time and the weather. Michio filled the day with engaging background of the region and discussion of Japan past and present. He is well travelled and a man of broad knowledge and keen wit. The trip was well structured, leisurely, and we shared a great lunch. At the end of the day I felt I had seen a significant part of Japanese history and had a better understanding of Japanese people.
