This was a lovely evening driving through the game reserve while the sun sets. Plenty of game to see, particularly before it gets dark. After that we rely on hand held floodlights to pick up reflections of animals eyes. Unfortunately, one of the volunteers holding the floodlights seemed to think aiming at the trees would be best! Our meal was at an elephant sanctuary, where we were told of the work they do, and we enjoyed a barbecue under the stars, which was delicious. The knowledge of the guide is huge! There was nothing about the wildlife he didn't know! My only criticism is all the driving to the main entrance of the northern part to pay our entrance fees, them driving Al the way to the southern side for the game drive. It's a shame they don't arrange for us to pay the fees beforehand to save wasting so much time driving about. Overall a great evening out and I would definitely recommend it.

A nice game drive with a guide who really knew how to interpret the behavior of the animals seen - including an aggressive male elephant - and who handled the situation appropriately. Enjoyed the sundowner drink and nibbles. The dinner was tasty and abundant and washed down with a good glass of wine. Having done many game drives before - my reason for downgrading to 4* was purely because it seemed our driver forgot he had passengers in the rear of the vehicle when trying to get us to dinner and forgot about the corrugated poor road conditions. If he had slowed down a little he would have got a 5* for this tour.

An absolutely magical evening spending time in Zambezi National Park! Loved seeing all the elephants and buffalo!

Incredible early evening and night safari in Zambezi National park. The large herds of elephants and buffalo were super impressive! The meal was exceptionally good as well!
