景福宮は、朝鮮王朝の正式な宮殿として建てられました。李成桂は太祖となり、新政権の創始者となりました。景福宮は、東の昌徳宮と西の慶熙宮の北に位置しているため、一般的に北宮と呼ばれています。景福宮は、5 つの宮殿の中で最も美しく、最も大きい宮殿です。2 代王定宗、4 代王世宗、6 代王端宗、7 代王世祖、9 代王成宗、11 代王中宗、13 代王明宗など、多くの朝鮮王がここで戴冠式を行いました。敷地は、壬辰倭乱 (1592-1598) の際に一度焼失しました。しかし、高宗の治世中に興宣大院君の指導の下、宮殿の建物はすべて修復されました。しかし、明成皇后の暗殺により景福宮は王宮としての機能を失い、最終的には朝鮮王朝の崩壊を目撃することになりました。
景福宮、昌徳宮、宗廟に囲まれた北村韓屋村には、朝鮮王朝にまで遡る数百軒の伝統的な家屋、韓屋が建っています。北村という名前は文字通り「北の村」と訳され、この地域がソウルの重要なランドマークである清渓川と鍾路の北に位置していることに由来しています。今日、これらの韓屋の多くは文化センター、ゲストハウス、レストラン、茶屋として営業しており、訪問者に韓国の伝統文化を体験し、学び、浸る機会を提供しています。北村韓屋村は実際に人々の家がある地域であるため、訪問客は周囲を散策する際には常に礼儀正しく行動するよう勧められています。

南山ケーブルカーからはソウルのダウンタウンのパノラマビューを楽しめます。このケーブルカーは 40 年以上運行されており、観光客や住民をソウルの最も代表的な観光名所の 1 つである南山ソウルタワーまで運んでいます。
広蔵市場は韓国初の常設市場で、現在も人気の観光地として賑わっています。広蔵という名前は「遠くから集まって、一緒に保管する」という意味です。この市場は、近隣地域から商品を持ち込む小さな貿易センターとして始まりましたが、現在では、室内装飾品、輸入品、食料品、干物、伝統品など、さまざまな商品を販売する大規模な卸売市場に成長しました。市場で最も人気があるのは、東門、北門2、南門1につながる食品街です。食品街には豊富なメニューがあり、幅広い顧客のニーズに対応しています。また、海外からの旅行者に最もお勧めの観光スポットの1つでもあります。

We had such a brilliant experience with our Guide Michael. From the contact the day before the tour, the morning of and all throughout the day. He was super knowledgeable and so helpful all throughout the day. We visited so many places and have such a nice collection of family memories and photos from the day too. Highly recommend!
The guide was willing to accommodate our special requests and adjust accordingly. We had a great time.
We had a wonderful day with Mr. Bean. He was very knowledgeable and did not rush us with seeing all of the highlights of Seoul. The tour was very comprehensive and covered a lot of sights. We would definitely recommend doing this tour with Mr. Bean when in Seoul.

Our tour guide was Michael Park and he was excellent! He picked us up at our hotel which was a bit complicated because it is part of a shopping plaza and a big building. Nonetheless, he knew exactly where to pick us up at. He contacted us prior to the actual day to confirm his contact. He spoke and texted in English which made it easier for me. Every site we visited, he knew the history of it and it made it a lot more interesting. He vehicle was clean and comfortable. Places where there were no parking, he dropped us off and told us to wait until he parked the car and came to meet us. I would highly recommend Michael again should we come back to Korea and need a tour guide. Very pleasant and excellent tour guide!
This small tour visits the highlights of Seoul: 福德宮，南山 and 仁寺洞 in the private car, which is comfortable and hustle-free for first time visitors to Seoul. Our tour guide, Michael, Is extremely familiar with these places. We were fortunate to have joined the Tour as it only runs on Saturday and we have certainly enjoyed our trip.
Our tour guide Michael drove five of us around to visit all of the places listed on the tour. While walking and explaining what we were seeing, he was happy to answer questions about life in Korea as well. There was sufficient time for meal / snack breaks, we also had some wandering-around time on our own, and he even helped us out at the end by dropping us off about a 10 minute walk from Insadong rather than our hotel at the end of the tour. Really nice experience.
Two thumbs up for our tour guide Michael! He got in touch with us to confirm the time and pick up location, he was punctual, knowledgeable, funny and was a good driver. He managed to cover all the places on the itinerary and gave tips and information that we found helpful. We hope to have him as our tour guide again when we come back. We will definitely recommend this tour---and Michael---to our travelling friends!
Don Lee was a terrific guide, he was flexible on the schedule, rearranging the order of the stops based on the expected crowds. We used Klook in Japan, not pleased since it stated guided tour but it wasn’t.
