Mystical Nights : Fireflies & Blue Tears Adventure

Niaz made the whole experience special We had a very good experience on the private Kuala Selangor Fireflies & Blue Tears tour, but honestly, the biggest highlight of the whole trip was our driver and guide, Niaz. From the very beginning he was extremely kind, polite, friendly and professional. He took very good care of us throughout the entire day, made sure we were comfortable and helped us with everything we needed. What made the biggest difference was that Niaz was not just a driver. He told us a lot about Malaysia, local culture, everyday life and the places we visited, which made the whole experience much more interesting and personal. He was patient, attentive and genuinely cared about whether we were enjoying the trip. We felt very comfortable and safe with him the whole time. The Fireflies and Blue Tears experience itself was very nice, but Niaz was honestly the main reason why we enjoyed the tour so much. We would absolutely recommend asking for him if you book this tour. He deserves recognition for the excellent service he provides. Thank you, Niaz, for making our last day in Malaysia such a memorable one!

Very good experience!! Very friendly guide who takes the time to give us lots of information during the trip. 1st stop at the Hindu temple and 2nd stop to see the silvered langur monkeys that you can feed (vegetables at 2rm per bunch to buy on site). And finally the boat trip to see the fireflies. Everything is very well organized with a respected schedule. I recommend it.

We had an amazing time on this excursion — we were lucky enough to spot dozens of fireflies lighting up the night, as well as glowing plankton in the water. A special thank you to our guide, Nesh, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and went out of his way to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommended!

We had a great tour with our tour guide Kelvin - super nice, competent, great conversationalist, good English skills - broad knowledge about Asia and especially Malaysia. The approximately one-hour journey, short stop at a beautiful Hindu temple, which is, however, currently closed due to renovation work - therefore only exterior photos possible. Afterwards, a fun stop at the well-known viewpoint with monkeys. Be careful when feeding (approx. 10 MR) - the monkeys quickly become curious and cheeky. Afterwards, dinner at a seafood restaurant (not included) and typical for Malaysia with an aquarium for individual selection if desired. Boat tour with speedboat - recommendation to sit on the right side, as you then drive directly past the fireflies in the dark. Unfortunately, we were unlucky, as the blue tears were not easy to see due to the time of year - but that is just due to nature. In that respect, a very good and recommendable tour in a comfortable 6-seater van! Special thanks to Kelvin in particular

The tour was surprisingly interesting. Besides the fireflies and the blue tears, which unfortunately could not be seen well due to the weather, one could feed silvered leaf monkeys and there were monitor lizards to see at the jetty. Our tour guide Suresh was very friendly and told us a lot about Kuala Lumpur. A super experience.

The driver Suresh was truly kind and helpful, he picked us up directly at the hotel, he explained a lot about Malaysia to us, we saw an ancient Hindu temple, a bunch of cute little monkeys, we saw the Strait of Malacca and then we took the river tour full of so many fireflies and we were lucky, we saw the bioluminescence. Very good

Good experience The admission fee was good and reasonable We wished we could see more blue tears but our experience with our guide "Nesh" was great, good attitude, nice personality and kind. pick and drop was smooth as well

Our tour with Suresh was amazing. We were picked up and dropped off very close to where we were staying. On route to the river we stopped to see a few extra sights and our guide, Suresh, was incredibly informative and so interesting to chat with. The experience itself was great, from seeing the fireflies come to life after an amazing sunset to speeding across to see the blue lights. I would highly recommend Suresh and this experience!
