Great experience! Really nice workshop and beautiful little studio - great activity to do. It's a bit of a hike out there for a solo traveller - so check the location suits you. I recommend message the WhatsApp number to confirm if booked last minute or through Viator - bit of a mixup with my booking and they didn't know I was coming - but still got a full experience and the hosts were lovely and very apologetic about it!

Batik painting is one of the Malaysia cultural icons. I am glad that my two teens had privilege to learn how to do batik painting at Emilia's MyBatik Workshop. Emilia is the owner of the MyBatik Workshop. She's very friendly and very good at giving well-described instructions to my teens who did the batik painting for the very first time.
