Great trip to the Great Wall of China and the Summer Palace. I would highly recommend. Our driver, wang guo wang was excellent. He helped us buy our tickets and made a requested stop. The service he provided was 5 out of 5
We had a lovely time visiting the Great Wall. Jason was a kind and helpful driver - arrived on time to pick us up and helped us to buy tickets. Unfortunately due to heavy traffic, we were unable to visit the Summer Palace.
Great tour! It was very nice that it was private and our driver was very nice. He did not speak a lot of English but he used his phone to communicate and the tour company said I could call them if we had issues so it worked out fine. He was very good about meeting us close to each place so we didn’t have to walk too far. Our only complaint was we only have one hour at the Summer Palace and you really need two, which would have cost extra. If you do this tour definitely pay for the extra hour there!
Four of us spent the day with Coco and Mr Wu. They were prompt in their pickup, and used the car ride to good advantage explaining the sites we were passing and orienting us for the day. Mr Wu was a very safe driver, which is important to us! Both sites were great, and the fact that we had good weather certainly helped! Coco was very efficient in getting us around, avoiding the crowds where we could. It couldn't have been better!
