私たちのツアーは、古代首都ムツヘタの近くにある6世紀に遡る古代寺院から始まります。この寺院は、アラグヴィ川とクラ川の荒波が交わる高山の頂上に位置し、そこからは近隣の絵のように美しい景色が広がります。 。この寺院は、その建築、立地、歴史的価値により何千人もの観光客を魅了しています。教会の名前はグルジア語で「十字架」と訳されており、独自の歴史がありますので、それについては後で説明します。
私たちの次の目的地はジョージアの古都、ムツヘタです。博物館都市であり、ジワリ修道院もユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。 2500 年前から人が住んでおり、かつては初期のイベリア王国の首都でした。 この最も古い町には、紀元前 65 年頃のポンペイウス大王の時代にクラ川に架かる石橋ポンペイウス橋、4 ～ 5 世紀の教会、1 世紀の最も神聖なベブリス城など、多くの古代の歴史的建造物があります。スヴェティツホヴェリ大聖堂はキリスト教正教の主要な大聖堂であり、キリストのローブが埋葬されていると言われています。
ツアー中の次の訪問地は、ソビエト連邦の最も有名なグルジア人指導者ヨシフ・スターリンの家博物館の故郷である ゴリ市 です。 そこではスターリンが生まれた家や装甲列車を見ることができます。 また、彼の個人的なパイプ、椅子、剣も彼の子供時代の写真を見ることができるスターリン博物館を訪問し、革命的な活動のために初めてツァーリ警察に捕らえられたときの写真もドイツ、ポーランド、中国、英国として異なる国から受け取った贈り物のホール.............
次の目的地は、世界で最も古い歴史的な場所です。ウフリストツィヘ - 「神の要塞」 - 岩に刻まれた 3000 年前の古代の洞窟都市で、ジョージアの歴史において重要な役割を果たしました。この記念碑のユニークな点は、その構造上、数十年にわたって建てられた建築物や宗教的建造物の遺跡が保存されているという事実にあります。現在までに残っている洞窟は 150 個だけですが、そのうちのいくつかはツアー中に訪問し、洞窟トンネル、古代の太陽寺院、タマラ王の王室の洞窟、ワイナリー、6 世紀の教会、図書館、古代の薬局などを発見します... 。

George was brilliant. Great communication, speaks fluent English, unlike other trips I had. Arrived at the hotel on time, with a nice clean, comfortable car. Uplistsikhe was the main thing I wanted to see in Georgia and I was not disappointed. Also did some wine tasting here. We also did Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta and Jvari Monastery. Fantastic trip, really enjoyed it.
George is a brilliant guide, super knowledgeable, etc but also happy to engage in contemporary Georgian life, politics and culture.
The guide George was excellent, very attentive to all our needs. We had wonderful time, the excursion was also very educational. Highly recommend this trip!

We had been using Viator in Europe numerous times, so far so good. Our tour guide for this trip, George, was very knowledgeable, friendly and spoke good English. We booked this tour just for the Uplistsikhe Cave and it was totally worth it. Hope to enjoy your good service in near future.
We did a 4 person private tour to Gori and Uplistsikhe for a good price. Each of us had already been to the sights at Mtskheta, so we wanted a longer, dedicated visit to Uplistsikhe and shorter visit to Gori (most tours package all of these together which seems rushed). Giorgi was a great driver and interesting guide who answered our many questions about Georgia's past and present. He also helped guide us through the cave town and was patient with the time we wished to spend exploring on our own.
Its was very interesting tour , they provide pickup from hotel , our guide george was very nice and polite. We visited cave city , tunnel and Soviet leader house-museum where we had long excursion with museum guide.
