Had such a great day going to Tekapo and Mt. Cook. I was worried about the weather and the drive time when I checked but it turned out to be a beautiful day and well worth the drive. Grant was a great tour guide and knew so much about the geography and history of everything we were passing and had the answers to every question that was asked. I would definitely recommend this tour and Grant to anyone who comes to Christchurch!

The Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo day tour was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Christchurch. Mount Cook was absolutely breathtaking, even through the rain and snow, and the striking blue waters of Lake Tekapo were unlike anything I had seen before. Because both destinations are quite a distance from Christchurch, the tour involves a significant amount of time on the road. Fortunately, our guide, Logan, made the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. He kept us engaged with fascinating insights into the history of the regions we travelled through, as well as stories and perspectives on Kiwi and Māori culture. I also felt that the tour offered excellent value for money and was considerably more affordable than trying to organise the same trip independently. Some travellers may prefer renting a car so they have greater flexibility and more time to explore at their own pace. Personally, though, I was very grateful to have Logan behind the wheel, particularly given the winding, uneven, and often rather dilapidated roads. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys the atmosphere of a good road trip and appreciates having someone knowledgeable to bring the journey to life along the way.

It was 1 of the best tours i have been on. The driver,Logan, was fantastic. He was a very good driver and a knowledgeable one. He gave the group plenty of stops for photos and plenty of time. One good thing,it was only a small group,and the food/lunch supplied,plus snacks,was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour as well as cheeky kiwi. They are a very good tour operator

We had an excellent day from start to finish. Logan our driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating for everyone in the group.

The experience overall was excellent despite the weather being against us. Despite heavy rain, we were still able to enjoy scenery and being a small group, everyone chatted along the way.

It was a fantastic tour! Though it's raining when we left Christchurch the weather gets better along the way to Mt Cook where the scenery looks very amazing until we arrived at Mt Cook. Unfortunately it's raining again when we arrived at Mt Cook but despite of that we were still able to stroll around and it's just fantastic feel the cold strong wind while walking on the snow. Overall the tour is perfect moreso with the narration of our driver/guide Logan.

A great tour with a packed itinerary with mesmerising Lake Tekapo and the spectacular Mt Cook. The rainbow at Mt. Cook was a happy highlight. It was a long day of driving but with sufficient stops. Our tour guides, Rosie and Zac kept us safe, organised and educated about the history of Christchurch.

Our lovely tour guides Rosy n Zak did a great job . Knowledgeable commentarary . I like Rozy's pace in delicerary her commentary and instructions for our breaks. The complementary pumpkin soup was delicious.

The trip was amazing! Highly recommend Cheeky Kiwi Travel, 5⭐️. Grant, our driver, was awesome—very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip even more enjoyable with his great stories on the way back. We nearly got left by the van lol, but thankfully, their office was so helpful and accommodating when we called. Grant came back for us in less than 10 mins., which we really appreciated. Overall, such a great experience from start to finish. Thank you!
