夜の午後 19 時に出発し、修道院と山まで車で 2 ～ 3 時間かかります。午前1時にガイドと一緒に山に登り始めます。日の出を待つ間、星空を眺めることができます。
日の出の後、下り坂を登り、聖カタリナ修道院を訪れます。正午頃、シャルム・エル・シェイクに戻ります。 世界で最も有名な修道院の 1 つと考えられており、キリスト教の最も古い修道院の 1 つでもある聖カタリナ修道院を訪れてください。シナイ半島の中心部、高さ 1570 メートルの場所にあり、伝承によれば、燃え尽きなかった茂みが燃えているのをモーセが見た場所です。修道院は正統派であり、ユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。修道院は、6 世紀のユスティニアヌス皇帝の時代にさかのぼります。現在、修道院を囲む囲いの壁が建設されたのと同じ時期でしたが、修道院は11世紀の初めに、最も初期のアレクサンドリアクリスチャン殉教者の1人である聖カタリナに敬意を表して聖カタリナと名付けられました.モーセが見た燃える茂みや注目すべきアイコンギャラリーなど、いくつかのモニュメントが含まれています。

I love hiking and the Bible. So why wouldn't I love this trip? Please be sure to bring good shoes, flashlight, sunscreen (or protective clothing), and a light jacket. I would totally do this again!
Tariq and Muhammed, splendid guys. The trip felt very safe and also adventurous. I would trust them to take me anywhere. The hike itself was pretty great and accessible to most hikers.
Sunrise on Mount Moses is a phantastic experience. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, the impressive St. Catherine's monastery was closed for church holiday. And the guides did not explain a lot about the history and places in general - neither on the bus nor on the mountain. Maybe this was due to their poor language skills (both in Russian and in English), but it was sad nevertheless. A previous experience with a Getyourguide tour of Gizeh was absolute the opposite. Good: excellent new Mercedes tor bus with very comfortable seats. In a nutshell: a phantastic place, but little input besides the nature.
