Everything went well. Pick up from the hotel at night and transfer to the Mt. Batur was good. Our guide, Jason, was amazing. Very friendly and professional. The sunrise was amazing.

We had an amazing early morning sunrise hike experience! Kadek picked all five of us up promptly at 2am from our villa near Seminyak and made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and drove us safely to Mt. Batur. He also made sure we connected with our guide before the hike and was waiting for us as soon as we finished. To top it all off, he even took us to AKASA Coffee afterward for a delicious breakfast which we needed because that hike was a good one. We truly appreciated his kindness and great service. Highly recommend and we would absolutely book with him again!

Coming to climb this mountain was in my list to do and this was one of the only tours I could find that accommodate solo travelers. We arrived at the summit in time to see the sunrise. My driver Toni contacted me the day before and arrived well on time. My guide Charlie also was very helpful making sure I did not fall during the steep steps of the climb.

THIS WAS TRULY A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. We were dreading waking up so early in the morning but this was totally worth it. The tour company was well organized and picked us up on time to bring us to the meeting spot with the larger group. They didn't make obnoxious number of stops along the way and picked us up in a private car, which made the transport faster. Our tour guide, AGUS was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable, was personable and kept checking in with us during the hike (which is in the middle of the night) to make sure we didn't fall behind. He went out of his way to find us great spots along the hike to take beautiful pictures that were truly stunning. He has so much skill that he should really be a photographer! When we got to the top, he quickly worked with this team to prepare us a protein rich breakfast. During the entire tour, we never felt pressured to do anything we weren't ready for and he left left no person behind. When we reached the peak, he showed us around cool spots for pictures and after the sunrise, he gave us a tour of all the spots on the mountain top. Best of luck to him and his kind hearted soul to help us navigate through the night and make this experience unforgettable and special to all of us in our group. THANK YOU!

We had a great experience with this tour company today. We did the sunrise Batur hike. We were picked up nicely from our hotel in Canggu, initially Google Maps showed a wrong location, but our driver Rudi solved it very quickly. Rudi was very nice, great driving in crazy Bali traffic. Our mountain guide was Ketut, who was very friendly and attentive, he told us many interesting things about the mountain and always made sure everyone is okay. Definitely use this company if you want to hike Batur for sunrise.

We asked for Transport from Sidemen, which we know would be a little more expensive than from other places. First they told us it‘s no problem for an extra price. As we knew already, we wanted to add transport to our booking. Then they ghosted us. Thanks for that ;-) We booked a different tour then which was much more professionell

Such an amazing experience with Marty as hike guide and Michael as driver!! Marty stayed with me the whole time and was so patient and supportive! Made a yummy breakfast and had the best photography skills!! Couldn’t recommend this trek enough! It’s semi difficult but it’s so doable for mild/moderate activity levels!

Yesterday we climbed Mount Batur. We were picked up at night by our incredibly sweet driver Rudi. He was interested in us, asked if the air conditioning was cold enough and brought us safely and quickly to our starting location. At our starting location we found our other incredibly sweet person, our guide, Katut. He was cheerful, spontaneous, sweet and interested and brought us up safely and quickly. We had very nice conversations with him and thought he was a real treasure. Also on the way back Rudi brought us home very nicely. He even asked us if we would stop at a vantage point as we drove past. Really sweet how he thought along with us. We also laughed a lot about words that were similar in Indonesian and Dutch. In short, a really great day! We would recommend everyone both people!
