Very nice and pleasant experience. It's a good way to make new friends and have a taste of Rio nightlife. Cadu, our guide, was cool and helpful. I recommend it
We met out guide Cadu at the first bar location. A prior guide told us it is at the end of a pedestrian street so we had no problem to locate it. However, I could imagine other travelers having a bit of difficulty since taxi/uber cars cannot drop pax off directly in front of the bar. Cadu was great fun and kept an eye on the group. He also poured us several tastings of cachaca. We went to the first three venues plus the steps for some photos, and left right before midnight. However, the party was still going strong in the various bars, clubs, and on the streets. This is a fun and lively tour; good value as well since we didn’t have to pay any cover charges. To boot, we always felt safe with Cadu and the group, so for foreigners fearful of getting scammed or robbed at night, this is a good way to sample the nightlife in Rio.
This was such a fun night. Met some amazing people. The bars had such a great atmosphere, very welcoming. The dance bars that we went to later on that night we're so energetic. I want to thank Catarina for being an amazing host.
Excellent tour, we went to 4 places, in Lapa. Shiky bar, 2 samba places and a club were we could stay till morning.
A great experience that allowed us to discover some fantastic places to listen to, sing and (try to) dance samba! Catarina was very friendly and introduced us to several different cachaças throughout the evening—the last one was definitely our favourite! We highly recommend this pub crawl.
Cadu was awesome! Super helpful the whole time, truly talked to us like we were longtime friends. Took us to non-touristy local spots and we had a great experience
