We had an amazing full-day rafting trip with our guide, Darren! He was very friendly, funny, and professional. He made us feel safe the whole time and explained everything clearly. My husband and I had so much fun, and this was one of the best experiences of our trip. Thank you, Darren, for making our day so special. We highly recommend this adventure!

We just finished a day rafting trip with Mild to Wild through Desolation canyon. This is a fun trip and a great recommendation if you are a bit leery about rafting through rap ids. The rapids are pretty mild being class twos and threes but still fun. There are a lot of stretches of water where you are simply floating but you have beautiful scenery to look at and we also spotted wild horses, bighorn sheep and blue herons along the way. We took a couple of side hikes to see petroglyphs and one to see an historic Ranch. Our guys was informative about the mountain ranges, geology, history skiing with sharing the names of the various rapids as we encountered them. It was also fun to have the opportunity to use two men kayaks at your option both on the float part and through the rapids. The guides were careful to tell you the path to follow through the rapids and how to handle any mishaps you might encounter. We can highly recommend this rafting company based on this trip and on several other trips we took with them previously. You also have a few opportunities to swim if you wish or just to dunk yourself to get cooled off. First off, it's great fun bring on the water with amazing scenery of canyon country as you float by. But, the high rating is also based on how friendly, helpful, skilled, knowledgeable and safety oriented the rafting guides are. They work hard from early morning to late evening to keep your trip both safe and fun. And they are always happy to answer any questions and to try to fix any problem you might have. . You are provided 3 great meals a day along with snacks. For example, we had chicken fajitas, creamy pesto pasta with Italian sausage and salad, and finished with steak and potatoes for our 3 dinners. If you have special dietary requirements you simply advise the company ahead of time and they will provide gluten free or sugar free or other accommodations. As a extra bonus, you are given a large insulated metal water bottle for the trip. If you don't have your own camping supplies, you can easily rent or buy some from them ahead of time. Of course, they also loan you two dry bags for the trip including a a small one for on the boat during the day and a large one that you use each evening to carry your clothes sleeping bags, etc

Corey was a fantastic tour guide for our family full day water rafting adventure. She took my husband and I and four kids age 7-12 through fishers towers and castle island. The winds were high and to get down stream took some serious work. The kids loved the challenge. We got twisted on a rock and she got us all off safely! Lastly- rent the water blaster - water battles kept the kids entertained. For kids younger than 8- half day is probably sufficient

Corey was an absolute rock star tour guide. She did an all day adventure with my husband and I and four kids age 7-12. She was patient, kept her cool and got us off the rocks whe. We were twisted up and gave us the best stories of the area. We also did our tour during crazy high winds which met we had to paddle down stream. Overall one of the kids favorite days- a new core memory and unforgettable for mom and dad. Despite low water levels our day was anything but mild!!

We had an amazing trip with Seth. He was very knowledgeable on all things local. He kept us safe and entertained. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting a day in the water. The lunch was great as well and we were very happy to have a gluten free option when booking for our child with allergies.

Highly recommend this team to take you on a beautiful sight seeing trip down the Colorado River! Fun, relaxing and top notch! Our guide was the best!

I couldn’t speak more highly of our experience with Mild to Wild. The four guides we had were 10+++. They were truly next level. Everything was exceptional, from setting up camp and the kitchens, to preparing three incredible meals a day plus snacks, to sharing their knowledge, expertise, and passion throughout the trip. Gavin was a cool chill guy, while also being very professional and safe. Got pictures at just the right moment when our group took some rapids as a connected flotilla which he’d never seen before.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Mild to Wild River Rafting in Moab! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our guide, Gavin, truly made the trip unforgettable. He was extremely knowledgeable about the river and the surrounding area, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. Not only was Gavin informative, but he also kept us laughing the entire time. His sense of humor made the whole adventure even more fun and relaxed. Most importantly, he took great care of our group and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The level of service we received was easily 10-star, even though 5 is the max! If you’re thinking about rafting in Moab, I highly recommend Mild to Wild—and definitely ask for Gavin if you can. You won’t regret it!
