We had a great tour from Mimi, our tour guide. Full of local knowledge of not only the food but local history and architecture. Some amazing and unique food spots that are off the beaten path and very local.
Mimi is fantastic and makes the tour with her local historical and current knowledge of Malacca. The places she took is to were great and all food sampled was delicious. When I say sample it was definitely a bigger portion than a sample!!! It is definitely value for money and the duration is just right to get the full experience. Her personality shone through and we gelled well as a small group which was perfect for this type of tour. I thoroughly recommend this as an introduction to Malacca so you can explore afterwards and know what to order and where to go!
I really loved the tour! Mimi was our guide and showed us around enthusiastically. She provided us with information about the food as well as historical information about Melaka. It made me wish I did the tour sooner. It is a great guide for even more places to try. Would really recommend it to anyone. Great thanks to Mimi for making it a really fun tour!
Quite a tailored experience as I was solo and somewhat familiar with Malaysian cuisine. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and planned in advance dishes that needed to be prepared. I also enjoyed the cultural history and origin of the food I ate, which was plenty.
Our guide, Kong, was so good at explaining all the food we tried. And there was a lot of food. Come hungry. She also explained cultural history and architecture along the way. The best thing is that we tried many things that we would not have been able to try ordering on our own.
This tour made our trip to Melaka unforgettable. We visited restaurants out of the central touristy streets and had amazing food. We learned a lot about the food, different cuisines and history of Melakka. Mimi, our guide, made it a fun experience. I highly recommend joining this tour. My teenage boys also really enjoyed themselves.
This is a great tour, Mimi is a knowledgeable and fun guide and very considerate of your needs. You will eat your way around the city and learn lots about the history and culture through the food! Just make sure you go prepared to eat well!

Magical tour.plenty of different foodstuffs and lots of various tastes.my guide the learned Mimi gave me the history of everything i ate.the origin,the cooking method and ingredients as well.as we walked from one eatery to another Mimi gave me historical talks about different buildings and peoples.as far as value for money goes it was the best.done plenty of food walking tours around the world but this one cannot be surpassed.a wonderful evening filled with wonderful conversation and exciting foods and flavours.terima kasih banyak to Mimi
