The volunteer guide Derry who took us through was very knowledgeable but softly spoken. He was passionate about the history & shared interesting facts. Due to the AFL finals coming up the sound check was taking place which made it tricky to hear at times. Highly recommend this tour which included the Australian Sports Museum as well. There’s no time limit on wandering through the museum & there is an interactive kids area. Lots of statues in the grounds to look at too. Having access to the cloakroom was great for storing our bags as we headed to the airport straight after.

Enjoyed every minute of it. So pleased I did it. Really good tour director who is very passionate about the tour

Great info about history of MCG, the members, Cricket, and Australian rules Football. We are here from the US to see the NFL game here next month and wanted to get a peak of the venue.

Mark was the best. Entertaining, funny, informative and a good sport. This was booked for hubby as his part of family weekend away, but we all enjoyed it. Put it in the to do list as a must in Melbourne.. there's no Mick in Mark (you'll get it when you do the tour with Mark).

Its was a great experience. Only thing I would add is 75 mins was not enough. We thought the trip would be two hours, but we had only 1hour time approx and museum also closed earlier to an event, so we missed quite a lot. Otherwise it was fund experience.
